    I guess it bears the VISA electron logo, it must be able to verify your account and use it online. Just add and try the card in paypal and you will know better.

    call the call centre and ask if they allow internet transactions and if yes ask them to activate your account,

    nope, not right now but the niaga/cimb debit card was usable for paypal verification back in 2008
    now they block all online transactions due to security issues.

    I don't know about this but am sure that so long as it has a VISA logo on it you are game live.

    As long as the debit card have either master or visa logo should be OK.
    Anyway, to double confirm, better check with your bank
