You can install you blog (wordpress) using fantastico (most of the hoster provide it for free).

You can also install forum the same way.

You can have blog and forum on the same domain.
Just create a different link for that

    For example:

    goiit.com/blog for blog
    goiit.com/forum for forum

If you are a 0 then I would recommend taking a little time to get familiar with code like html and css. You dont have to be an expert at it, just be able to recognize the important stuff. I would also recommend looking at some free basic templates to get an idea of that an actual working website looks like on the inside. http://webshapes.org is a good place to start.

Once you have that all figured out, I would suggest building a few basic pages that will pertain to your theme and get you to rank in the search engines. You will also want to spend some time learning the basics of search engine optimization if you want to build your first site up right.

If you get this far then you are ready to put your forum in. All forums run off a different type of code that you have never seen and probably will never want to see. However, there are free forums that are pre coded and are set up to be installed very easily. (check out php nuke or bb or just surf google)

To answer your question, there are hosting companies out there that will host forums as well as your site for you under the same domain name. So you do not have to buy a new one or anything. My recommendation for hosting would be to check out the one in my sig. All of their hosting packages will allow you to do what you need plus much more. Also, their technical support is very helpful and can give you some pointers when you install your forum.

From experience, I honestly have to say that you are biting off more then you can chew. If you just jump into this, you will end up making mistakes that will need to be corrected later thus wasting a lot of time. My number one piece of advice to every new web designer is to NEVER build your dream site first. Chances are you will become frustrated with it or mess it up to the point of no recovery. Start small, read a lot of stuff from this site, and eventually you will be ready.

    Good Luck.

Perhaps all hosting providers of India are parts of US/UK based web hosting providers. To choose a good hosting you must discuss with them if they can support ur site-features, whereas most of the providers face bandwidth down problem.
To make a better start you should do some research for ur site. Read articles regarding 3 factors to build a website:
    - Web hosting
    - Website design & development
    - SEO / Website promotion

No, the hosting in my sig is only based out of America. And yes, the pre-coded forum will be set up under the one domain that you get.

Once you have hosting for your domain, the FIRST thing I would do before installing ANYTHING or creating ANY pages is to create a file called robots.txt in the root folder of your web (i.e. at http://www.yourdomain.com/robots.txt) with the following commands in it:

This will prevent the search engine spiders/crawlers from indexing your site while you're working on it. Once you have your site the way you want it with your blog and foums setup then you can either delete the robots.txt file from the root folder of your web or change it to:

which will allow them to crawl your entire web.

Most new webmasters forget to do this and end up getting their site indexed prematurely. You only get one Google Honeymoon so I would suggest saving it for when your site is ready for prime time. You don't want to have an under construction site turning up on page one of the SERPs. When people visit they'll see it's incomplete and may never come back.

I am also concerned with this.
I read that it takes a few months for the SE to disallow.
Meaning it will actually index your site even though you disallowed it.
Then after a few months it will finally stay away.
There was a post somewhere with screenshots showing proof of this.

edit: generally, they do not obey robot.txt.
