It depends on what your keywords are on Adwords. Some keywords cost way more than others. The bottom line is finding content that does not have much competition on Adwords for it's keywords. If something is costing you around 10-22 cents a click, and your EPC isn't that high for your niche, then you need to find different content to advertise on Adwords.

don't want to cause a disagreement over this

but it's got nothing to do with niche

it's more the fact that your only getting a 1/5 completion anyway through the gateway and the adword cost is what it is

you want to get non specific keywards (cheaper) then your not going to get clicks.

anyway it is what it is - an early post said they were doing well with it - my limited experience says its a loser.

I can't tell you how many per 1000 UV, but I can show you what i'm getting from 1000 clicks. Here's the last 1000 clicks we've received, traffic is global.

On topic: I'd also like to see the "powered by CPALead" line removed. It would be great if we could get more features available also.

Some users are experiencing around 20-25 cents per click with CPALead. When marketing our Gateway with Adwords, you can even target which country sees your Adwords campaign. Forget the fact that it takes 5 clicks to convert $1.20 offer, it's the overall earnings per clicks that matter. Are you telling me Google is charging 15 cents per click or more for ALL keywords on Adwords? This is why I am telling you to pick a different niche that has cheaper keywords on Adwords and this is why affiliate marketers who know what they are doing make big money. They don't get discouraged after running one campaign on an overpriced keyword.

    we just going in circles

you miss the point that you buy cheaper words you get less traffic/less conversions and less income

so it's a marginal reward time vs effort.

everyone you, I, every site running CPA Lead needs more traffic/better converting traffic and more profit.

anyway good luck to us all tonight.. regards.

I suggest being careful in asking this question, as you're going to have many affiliate links thrown at you. It completely depends on what you're after, I'm using a dedicated server but that's because I run multiple other website's also, if you're using little bandwidth + disc space (linking to movies/shows) then standard webhosting at a company such as Hostgator should be fine.

It would be easier to help you if you specified your current useage, though.

    Hey CPALeads,

I just installed the FF addon for my stats and its just says "Waiting For Data"?

Is there a few kinks to yet work out or did I do something wrong?

    Anyone have this working?

    Thanks

    Everyone's traffic yields different results.

Here is a brief explanation in the variances of your EPC and your overall traffic patterns.

Addy220 - Freelotto works for a ton of countries that are hard to convert. This means these are countries where the submitted information by the citizens of those countries are worth lesser money to the market research companies who buy this information and advertisers trying to monetize a co-reg path. As advertiser competition increases in these countries, so will the EPCs of the offers that exist for those countries. If the advertiser does not keep up with the competition in those countries, the advertiser will become irrelevant and struggle in the CPA media market. The only reason that freelotto is not an irrelevant survey in our network, is because the competition for those harder to monetize countries is little to nonexistent. If you would like to raise your overall network wide EPC, then disable this freelotto survey, however your overall earnings will be less as traffic for these countries will be left unmonetized. For instance, if you're getting a 10 cent EPC rate with traffic from Kenya, you should be happy. If you are getting a 10 cent EPC rate with UK traffic, you should be sad.

This is true for all of you who think network wide EPC means everything. Measure your EPCs PER COUNTRY. NOT NETWORK WIDE. If someone is claiming to have a 20% global EPC, it's a gimmick. If it was true, you could assume this network only had surveys for a few select countries where advertiser competition strives (USA, UK, Canada) or assume they only had one unique publisher at the time of sampling.

We could break down your patterns even further if you dissect the unique demographics that each of your Gateway's attract. These patterns also fluctuate based upon new content release dates and hopeful reoccurring speculation that your web content has changed or has been updated, but I would rather not get into that deep of details.

To really judge results of your success with the CPALead Gateway, measure how much more or less you earned this week than you did a week ago. Most of us here will already agree that there is a comparable difference in traffic between weekdays and weekends. But if you break it down further, you will find out there are differences between each day of the week yet similarities between the days of the week when compared side by side with the week before (example: Last Monday vs. this Monday), just like how there are differences in each day of the weekend. So comparing today to yesterday, is not really comparing the same thing. I can tell you one thing, advertisers who do not keep a consistent EPC on our network day-to-day to our strict EPC standards per country, will be removed from our network. So you, as a publisher of our advertiser's ads, will only be shown the highest EPC surveys all the time on your Gateways. Because when your bottom line is higher than yesterday's, then so is ours. And if we don't like advertiser's playing games with us, why would we think you would? We are fed up with networks that play scrubbing games as much as you are and David has been doing a great job weeding them out, hence the increased consistency.

I would also like to see the "Powered by CPALead" line removed as it's just another distraction to the user to click on instead of completing the survey.
