    I am shocked!!! Google does not change their logos on India's Independence day on 15th August 2009.

    There is nothing to get shocked. I understand that it is important for you but it is not necessary for Google to do so. Orkut's logo was changed though. :)

    They don't change their logo for every event in the calender.

    India isn't the most important country, nor is it's independence day.

    Hmm that sounds little rude newaus no 1 said about the google.com but google has its own search for india http://www.google.co.in/ like it has for many other countries they could have changed it for that perhaps..
