Affiliate programs that keep your URL intact?

    hey guys,

    so a competitor of mine is using an affiliate program that allows them to keep their URL (i.e. it doesn't go to the affiliate url first then pass through to their site).

    The url is: http://www.bustedtees.com/ls:XXXX where the XXXX is the user code.

    Does that format look familiar to anyone? I know BT uses Commission Junction, but they also use a couple of others i believe.

    Thanks guys, i would rather have real URL links on other ppl's sites!

    May be they are having an independent affiliate programing and doing the tracking the self ... can you post the link for that competetor of your's

    The url is: http://www.bustedtees.com/ls:XXXX where the XXXX is the user code. i didn't want to put in a user code so people here didn't get the wrong impression that i was marketing :)

    if you go to BT's site, there is an affiliate link, and when you click that it mentions they use Commission Junction...but i've seen them with shareasale too....

    They wouldn't do the tracking themselves if they are using CJ, right?

    who said sooo.. one can use multiple tracking. iyou can put the tracking code in the landing page first and then the code for affiliate network comes..

    but in this case to nacked eyes it looks like a case of self tracking rather than through cj.

    Ok here's another prime example:

    chickenmcnugget dot com is a blog that has a link to crack smoking shirts (a competitor of mine)

    the link is:

    www.cracksmokingshirts dot com/s/referrals.php?id=1089183202

    Which of course takes you to crack smoking shirts.

    HOWEVER, if you go try to join up as a CST affiliate, they say they use
    Shareasale!

    I emailed Shareasale and they say that their affiliate links are shareasale.com/blahblahblah and it redirects

    so how is crack smoking shirts doing it? I would love to keep my URL intact becuase of the backlinks...CST has 20,000 links to their site...Bustedtees has like 94,000! Both sites are in the top 10 when you search for funny t-shirts on google.

    Help me figure this out! I want to be like these guys! :D
