Swine Flu can be contained provided the patients approach the doctors/Nursing homes/hospitals and the symptoms are detected in time.

However, nothing to get panic. We must appreciate whether USA or India, the Governments in both countries are really alert and I thin, both countries are capable of containing the Swine Flu successfully.

But people also should know fully about the Do's and Don'ts about Swince Flu in containing the same. Half knowledge is always dangerous. No need to go to school for this purpose. Use the News media Internet, TV, and print media.

Thanks to the fast communication channels.

It's possible. It looks like the first wave has died down but it's likely that it will come back in the autumn. if it does return it's plausible that most people will contract it.

because viruses are RNA strands they propagare by reprogramming our own cells to manufacture more viral particulates and copy its self, that cell then self-destructs. Flu, as far as i know, doesn't reverse transcribe it's RNA in to DNA like some other viruses do (like aids) so it doesn't make any permanent changes.

Interestingly, 8% of our genome is made from viral DNA from the infections caught by our ancestors, it's one of the more compelling pieces of evidence for common decent.

About 2% of those infected, approximately the same percentage of people who die from regular flu. It will be almost exclusively the very young, very old and people with serious underlying health problems, particularly respiratory conditions.

    No it wasn't.

Because RNA doesn't contain proof-reading enzymes errors in coding are unable to be fixed resulting in about 1 "mutation" every 10000 nucleotides, 1 per generation. But these errors will usually either result in the virus malfunctioning or having no effect. Every so often an error will cause the virus to become more infectious, and by natural selection (the best suited surviving) that alteration will propagate. it's impossible to know how often this will happen and in all likelihood the virus would have burned it's self out by then.

There is. producing a vaccine is easy. The difficult part is producing it on a large enough scale to make it effective before the virus changes and a new vaccine is required.

Tamiflu reduces the duration and severity of the infection. it reduces symptoms like the fever and inhibits the viruses ability to replicate.

It works by inhibiting sialic acid which is found on the surface of cells which prevents them from releasing the new viral particulates once they have been manufactured. It's not a cure as such, it just makes it harder for the virus to replicate.

    LOL...I strongly agree! :D

There is a vaccine for swine flu already but since it has affected millions of people already, there isn't enough for everybody.

Each week, CDC analyzes information about the activity of influenza in the United States and publishes the findings of the main indicators of influenza, the report calls FluView. During the week 9-15 August 2009, to consider these key indicators showed that influenza activity decreased slightly in the U.S. last week. However, there are higher levels of influenza activity than normal for this time of year.

You do know that David Icke thinks he is jesus, believes the royal family are shape shifting reptiles and believes he is in contact wit the spirit world, right? In other words, you are taking medical advice from someone who has no medical training and is obviously mentally ill.

I actually don't care much for David Icke but his opinion on vaccines. He sold out to the alien agenda which is pretty lame imo.

If you are interested in my type of information.

I'm not taking medical advice from anyone, I've never taken a vaccine/flu shot for the past 15 years. Even if I were to, what is wrong with taking medical advice from someone without a degree. Also I suggest you study the chemical DMT which is stored in your brain, then think about your perspective a bit more.

Question 1: Do you believe 1/3rd of world's population will get affected ?
Answer : It's possible. Depends on what those in control want to happen.

Question 2: Is there any chance for people's (who are recovering from swine flu) genes getting mutated , like they becoming stupid ,etc ?
Answer : It's unclear at this time from what I've read.

Question 3: What is the estimate of people who will die from swine flu?
Answer : If people take care of themselves, nobody has to die. More people will probably die from the vaccine than from the actual virus.

Question 4: Was this virus created in a lab ?
Answer : Yes. In fact, Bayer submitted a patent on the vaccine one year before the outbreak. Hmmmm...how did they know they would need it? The patent number is out there if you look for it. The H1N1 (swine flu) first erupted in Mexico April this year. Yet they filed the patent for it on 08/28/08. Here's an excerpt from the pattent application:

"In particular preferred embodiments the composition or
vaccine comprises more than one antigen.....such as
influenza A and influenza B in particular selected from of one
    or more of the human H1N1, H2N2, H3N2, H5N1, H7N7, H1N2,
    H9N2, H7N2, H7N3, H10N7 subtypes, of the pig flu H1N1,
H1N2, H3N1 and H3N2 subtypes, of the dog or horse flu H7N7,
    H3N8 subtypes or of the avian H5N1, H7N2, H1N7, H7N3,
    H13N6, H5N9, H11N6, H3N8, H9N2, H5N2, H4N8, H10N7, H2N2,
    H8N4, H14N5, H6N5, H12N5 subtypes."

I'm new so can't post links here but there's a really good video on youbube by health ranger titled 'dont inject me'

do you not think that someone who thinks the British royal family are shape shifting reptilian aliens is a complete nutcase? why are you taking his opinion on anything? the man is mentally ill.

Made up bollocks? No i'm not interested, thanks.

I think you are missing the main point. sure taking medical advice from someone who doesn't know anything about medicine besides his delusions that everyone is out to get him is bad enough, but to take medical advice from someone who also think the royal family are reptile aliens is even worse.

What next? financial advice from the guy selling pencils from a cup on the street corner?

I hate to break it to you, but you simply aren't important enough for any global overlords, should they exist, to really care.

They don't wait until the virus is human to human communicable before creating a vaccine do they. It has only recently been able to transmit to humans, but it has been in pigs for a very long time. So as viruses mutate it was inevitable that eventually it would transmit to humans and it makes sense to produce, or at least patent, a vaccination before that happen.

But no, it makes more sense to you that the virus was "created in a lab" and deliberately released based on the flimsiest of evidence, namely the scandalous fact that a vaccine was patented before an outbreak occurred, even though there is a perfectly reasonable explanation for this and it is generally what happens.

Personally I am against vaccinations that have more than one organism, or that contain any kind of aluminum or mercury compound within them as a preservative.

I also don't get flu shots.

So far, so good. Grandparents have never had a flu shot - they're in their 80s.
