I'm in the process of compiling customer review information for my new "review" website. I'd like to get your honest feedback on the following, popular 3rd party payment processors:

    1. Paypal

    2. ClicKBank

    3. 2Checkout

    4. ibill

    5. ccnow

    6. Google Checkout

If you use another 3rd party processor not listed here, feel free to give your honest feedback on it. Please be as specific as possible. Explain in detail what you like or don't like about your 3rd party payment processor.

I will be using select reviews from this survey on my new website, which I expect to be quite popular. So please include your full name and business URL. Thank you in advance for your participation.

Okay, you both use PayPal. Why? What do you like about it, and would you recommend PayPal to others? Like my original post indicates, I'm looking for "real" customer reviews for my new website.

David, i don't think anyone here will have time to go into all that. Why don't you search on google for reviews on paypal and other payment processors? You will find many articles and reviews there.

I know you are doing some primary research, but a lot of secondary research is available to answer all the questions you have.

Speak for yourself. If you don't want to help out a fellow DP member that's your prerogotive. But please don't speak for other DP members. And just for the record, many of the testimonials you find online are bogus and unverified. I refuse to publish bogus reviews on my website. That's why I'm doing it this way - going straight to the source.

They are..what you mentioned are not 3rd party payment processors(except clickbank).. but Payment Gateways...I think there is a difference. for instance, click2sell.eu work through Paypal and Alertpay.. they charge us including the fees of payment gateways. click bank work through wellsfargo.comYou can't use a Clickbank account to sell your products if they aren't ebooks. Clickbank uses a payment gateway to process shopper's payments. Clickbank is an affiliate network.
if you want to save money in chagebacks get a good gateway.. a few of them like chage.com offer low setup fees..and other fees get a gateway not a processor.if you are an ebook seller, then go to click2sell.eu.. if you are a merchant then go to NOCHEX.COM(for EU and UK) best paypal alternative...do not get in to the mess with paypal. other then eu but for USA best to go 2CO if you are asia then go to charge.com(this is offshore for the 2CO)

I prefer with Paypal because i can withdraw my balance to my local bank in my country with reasonable fee (while the others cant at all and moneybookers fees too high)
