Hi i was wondering if any of you had experience with any other free affilate programs other than AdSense, if you have recieved payments from them and if they are worth the hassle or not or just a big scam. Please discuss.
As with adsense, any affiliate or advertising partnership will depend on website content as well as traffic. There are many people who will have great success with one company and none with another. Personally, I just tried alternatives to adsense (in alternative url), but not been impressed with the ones I tried up until now. I am looking into others, so likely will see how other people reply and maybe find out some useful information.
I just saw an advertisement on this exact thread funnily enough for a company called BidVertiser, i've seen a few websites who use this i might try it out.
dont even think about tha t bidvertisier is crap they dont pay you gonna have suspended account after you will reach $10
I have heard of many, but due to not being a high traffic site (as yet), due to being quite new, I dont qualify for most of them - and the ones I did qualify for, I found they were very poor adverts or what I felt were delivering totally irrelevant generic adverts. Needless to say, the 2 or 3 I have checked out before didn't convert one click at all - I gave them a weeks trial apiece. Although, google serves up plenty of results, there were some instances were a few of the more popular pages didn't have any adverts - and that was why I was looking at alternatives ... now google sometimes displays an advert. I have left the trial of other programmes for now, as I am concentrating on a different website and trying to get the content together for it - although I still do a little on the other website.
