Google Video bad idea

I understand that google removed their hosting for videos now it simply does like web search does and searches the web for videos resulting in that topic my personal opinion was that was a bad business move on their part as Google Video was likely second to youtube on hosting. Your opinions?

 

Since G bought Youtube i see no reason why they would keep pushing Google Video as Youtube dominates the market right now.

 

Yes that is the main thing. Youtube is so popular and google dont have to wait to capture the market with google video. They have bought the leading one.

 

still you tube as leader.. first brand with goodname

 

exactly why would they waste money on 2 video sites

 

yeah,it's bad enough that they waste it on one.

 

You guys got very good points actually i guess i need to keep up to date didnt realise they bought YouTube thanks for tellin me i understand why they did it now and i get it it wasnt a bad idea after all hehe.

 

there is green grass and sunshine outside the cave,you should come outside from time to time.

they bought it a while ago.when they bought it,they fazed out google video.
it wasn't the greatest purchase,google just looses money with it.

 

google video is really nice step to move ahead your website.
