See, God is an illusion, nothing else (No offence to religious People). Its about your beliefs, say Christians believe in Christ, Muslims believe in Muhammad and Allah, Hindus have millions of Gods and Goddesses.. everyone believes differently, the same way Romans had many Gods and Goddess.. Now who is right?? Which god is true god?? For me, None!! I dont deny that there is a Power, source of energy above all. which brings the equilibrium to this universe, but my logic denies to name that power God!!
You don't right my friend ... There is only one god! It's not important which religion are you and how you call "your" god, there is only one.
Al-Ikhlaas: In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. 112.1 . Say : He is Allah , the One! 112.2 . Allah , the eternally Besought of all! 112.3 . He begetteth not nor was begotten . 112.4 . And there is none comparable unto Him .
seems that you missed last line of my post - One planet, same species, but different religions, different beliefs, different gods. Theres the only thing - religion, makes us apart. Now religion is something, that is made by us humans, so god is something, that is drawn by us, humans.
And i repeat again: there is only one god! you call that power, i call him god, muslim call him allah but we all call the same god in different ways, depends in our religions. That's my point ...
God is you. You are God. We are all One. God is both within and without. Hes is everywhere and nowhere. Hes seems so distant yet so near. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . God is everything!!!!!!!!
If this was the case I would be able to pray to myself, bless myself, create angels, create another universe, create another human race and order pizza at the same time (without paying for it!). So you are saying that God is also a 200 tonne nuclear weapon? Or also a stillborn child? You may want to have a think about this!
hummm.. For Hindus, Romans and few other mythologies there are thousands of Gods...that is what they believe...how is it possible?
Thats a bold statement... because they(People who initiated society and all) were more intelligent than you and I. Budhdha is a statue??? You seem to know nothing about budhdha and budhdhism... Budhdha isnt a statue, but he was a person who shown the way of truth.. Additionaly Budhdha isnt a god, he never said that he was even a messanger of god or anything that sort of. There are many religions and ideologies.. They all think, they are right. You think you are right, and I am wrong. I think I am right and you are wrong. Existence of god is a never ending arguement, so better without arguing or saying I am right, you are wrong simply put forth whatever you believe and let other choose what they want to believe...
There is no difference in all the major religions, they are all trying to understand the power that is. Call it God, the TAO, Ataman, Allah, Krishna, whatever. No one can fully understand it and speak of it. This energy is all powerfull and all creating, however as the energy flows through people it picks up preconseptions from different people, which is why there are so many different versions of god. We see god not as it is but as we expect it to be. Who is to say any of us is right, or wrong. only by trancending duality can you become ONE.
Just curious, if thousands of years ago the Greeks and Egyptians believed in many gods, why all of sudden is our idea of 1 god correct and their idea has become nothing but mythology? I'm not saying I do or do not believe in a God or many gods, I'm just curious as to what others think? Why all of a sudden are we correct in saying that there is one God and He is real, when the Greeks believed the same thing and we now say they were wrong?
I think that has a lot to do with the progress of western logic. Before scientific reasoning started to become influential, it was not uncommon for people to believe that each type/category of reality was governed by an individual diety, whether it was Bacchus, the Greek god of wine, or it was Anubis, the Egyptian god of death. Polytheism looked at reality without attempting to define the underlying cause of all of reality, instead it attempted to explain each of the individual aspects of reality with archetypes. The exception to this is Hinduism, which grew from a ritualistic religion immersed in a huge pantheon of gods and goddesses, to a pantheistic religion which metaphysically allowed both a large multitude of deities, as well as a panentheism slant which defined all of creation as being formed of the unknown reality of the Brahman. Just my two cents.
Thats actually quite funny. You do the same thing traveling around the world though. is that why you stay at home? only messing.
