This is completely different from what I had originally designed before Illustrator crashed, but I'm still pleased. I wanted to keep it as simple as possible. No glare, just a couple of colors. But it didn't turn out that way. Hope you like it though Feedback please?

EDIT: Oops i dont know what happened on that second image, with the "noise rings" but I just corrected it, so ignore that

 

Here is another option (in my first two entries, the graphic was supposed to be a crate holding two tapes, but then I felt it could even pass as a fence, so I used your factory idea here)

First; by making that remark, you have tried to insult or put down "most of" the designers here, and many of them would highly disagree with you.
Second: he didn't rip a design. The design he based it off of was a design the CH liked. The logo was not for this contest. He didn't use the same font, he didn't rip any of the icons, and it does not look exactly the same. Therefore he is not "stupid." These contests don't need insults like that.

I think the font is rather plain. Here are 5 nice fonts to try out with your image: http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/5-free-fonts-for-web-20-logo/. Please try these out with your logo.

 

I like your vision on this. Let's try to keep it with 2 colors on the font. Try a couple different fonts out along with a couple color schemes. I LOVE what you did with the factory. I was hoping the image could go to the left or to the right of the words. Perhaps make the font smaller? Also, if possible try out these fonts: http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/5-free-fonts-for-web-20-logo/
