Could you try something else with the font, and maybe putting an oval or some shape behind the entire logo?
Here's a concept Idea Rather than going with a traditional simplistic logo, I decided to go for a more comical / Macotial approach depicting (Big Slick) the mascot demonstrating how safe biofuel is & his own toughness by consuming it. Feedback Appreciated
While it gave me a good chuckle, it's into what i'm looking for. Also, I think this wouldn't carry over as well when used at a smaller size.
Another Concept Idea Ok, now that I got the nostalgia out of my system in the last concept, here's another idea for you, still playing on the color green to represent environmentally safe. I also added the spade & crown to supply you with your mentioned elements in the project brief, & then finished it off with a couple leaves sticking out of the top left of the supporting iconical element corner to help enforce the environment concept.. Another variation of it with grass growing in the slick Feedback appreciated
I'm still not feeling the graphic, could you maybe make it resemble a steel drum, with the logo in the side?
I appreciate the spade, but with just that it doesn't have the feel i'm looking for. Maybe wedge a kings crown in there? The crown and spade kinda need each other IMHO.

wass28- Yes I remember now... It is very nice, but I think i'm looking for something using the spade and or crown.
You guys are really making this hard on me now... wass28- can you wedge a kings crown in there somewhere? dakouten- I like that much better, if you have the time, could you try some different fonts scorpionagency- can you do something to make the crown stand out a bit more, at first glance it's easily lost as a sparkle on the spade
