i need it. im trying to get a moderator to talk to and figure out why this is happening. I was driving traffic to this thread and everything using it for updates, and all of that. I was told my posts had no value. wow...pretty much that means that my involvement in this forum doesnt matter to them.

Again will a moderator please pm me!

in looking at your posts in a proxy hosting thread you have, i can see where the mods would give you infractions for back to back posting. also saying:

thats against the rules here, if you want to keep in touch with your clients, email and PM's are the way to go. so you probably got hammered for all that unnecessary posting.

yeah, your 300 posts are a great asset here. keep up the good work. ;)

i'd suggest adding a feature where mods can write the reason for deletion/closing so that members would know the reason for their threads being deleted/closed.

i never had a closed/deleted thread here, i'm just saying this would save members and moderators time.

i know it's not the time or place to suggest this, but damn this is the 1st time i see a mod posting so i wanted totake advatage and give my suggestion to someone who's able to take it to the mods forum and discuss it lol

yeah but why would it be against the rules? im going to pm every one of my clients? half my clients are not even members of digital point but i tell them to check the thread for news. So when my service goes down and people on who are on the forums wonder why i cant put a quick message on the thread saying, service went down this is why and its comming back? I cant do that?

I dont mean to be rude towards the moderators, as i find this forum very good. I just see down falls in the ethics performed. Thats all. I cant be told You need to do this, Instead as i get good reviews on a service a provide, as the thread gets popular, its deleted.

Btw, its not the posts the contribute. I post information which people should listen to. lol :)

i contribute more in a sense that i draw people here.

    Sawz your a mod?

because it is. if we let everyone use the open forum as their own little PM center, it would be a friggin mess.

    either that or email them.

    mistake.

only when you create another for the same purpose, which you did.

    says you. ;)

    yes i am. :D

I see your point, but common as its looking good. could have deleted another thread i had. that was the best one. lol it was organized with information, reivews. Its a quick thread service portfolio. in a sense. Has information, reviews...its there to help people.

since your a mod, please take care of this too.

see im given the most problems lol. i dont do stuff like that, yett i get infraction after infraction. Thats what i dont like. Im here working. Helpoing market the forum using it as a place where people can keep in tune with whats going on because its remote off my server, so if i go down and i need to tell people why, i have a place. I think you guys should look into allowing that, just make sure people keep it to official threads, like there is an official proxy thread. have official service threads. "The official Youtube thread" (if i was the lucky man who owned youtube lol) so people are able to not only show their service off but it allows them to update people, in a microblogging type sense here on the forums.

Allowing that would bring more people yet to the forums. While keeping people like me happy :) haha

wrekoniz3, it's not dumb, and sawz is a good admin, he has a lot of posts and is a member of DP for a long time, I think he deserves to be a super-mod, he takes care of a lot of problems and what you are doing is wrong...

not to worry, he got his just like everyone else who directs profanity at another member.

as for your posting habits, don't make back to back posts, thats just asking for it. and use the [IMG], its not hard.

really messed up, he was trying to help the forum, and i found his posts a good contribution to topics he spoke on. wow.

I guess that is a non-value post now too huh? since he cant post anymore...that advice for nothing...i cant believe that...lol im shocked he got banned.

Because we are not a microblogging platform. ;) Why don't you set up a blog on Blogger to do all of those things you were using the thread for. I'm sure that won't break any of Bloggers rules.

You reset your email and the process that runs hourly to promote you past newbie level users had not run yet. When you confirm your email, it sets you to low level user. Low level users are allowed fewer infractions before they are banned.

    ahh.

@buffalo...yea im goin to set up a small blogg so i can do that. It was always a lot easier to do it here because i never liked going out and saying "come to my blog" one way or another i might have gotten into more trouble doing that ya know what i mean. I wanted to keep my posts and users in one spot because a lot of my users use digital point.

@digitalpoint...WOW after all the stuff that happend today it rattled me, i was like mann i got banned after all that? lol. I appriciate you explaining that. I still disagree with having the infractions, but thats why criminal defense attourneys make a lot of money. haha. i didnt know that it was a serious problem when you dont condense your posts, well i will be more aware of that in the future.

    Thanks.

AS A LITTLE SIDE NOTE for Sawz... IT was NOT a duplicate post, if you had READ it, you would have seen that it was 2 different services 1 was new, one was ol.d can you please shut down the one you left me with so i can recreate the RIGHT 1, im trying to ditch the url name on the thread you left me...please...

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1366645

shut it down please. just remove it. i will repost a new summary of my service. If you look thats for empirewebhosting and the last thread post on there before you decided to delete my other 1 was several months ago. Again. if the moderators here just took 30 secs to ask whats up with the post a lot of trouble would have been saved for us all. please delete that thread...

Well i have been up all night working with Wrekoniz3, we are setting up my proxies...i have been on the phone with him for about 5 hours how.

About 10 min's ago, he tells me that sawz pm'd him and fixed the issue this whole thread was based on. He stated something to the effect of not reading the individual messages and only reading the topics or subjects. If this is the case it was just a simple mistake right?

He told me that the moderators hit him up with serveral infractions for Just this thread. But if it was a mistake the moderators made, those infractions should be uplifted for this thread.

Is this true Sawz? and why give out all those infractions for this thread when even you admitted to wrekoniz3 that you made a mistake because you didnt take the time to actually read the thread.

So why is he banned now?

lmao ohh and my joining to complain is a little immature? Your leaving quite an impression that this is more of a vendetta than a good job in moderation. Since when when is it "professional" to make those kinds of comments to people you are moderating...I appriciate that comment because if it wasnt for the person you just banned i wouldnt be here. Sadly this is the only thing i have been able to talk about because so far its been a bad experience for me. My first day.

    yes, very immature.
but whats so interesting about this is the post you just made is from the exact same ip as wrekoniz3.

    bye.
