Looking for a logo for my biodiesel/biofuels hobby. At this point, this is a hobby and not a business. I've decided on the name "Big Slick Biofuels". Big Slick is reference to a hand in poker, consisting of Ace King, and also to the fact some of my biofuels originate from used vegetable oil. I'm open to any ideas, but I believe i'd really like the image to include a spade (as in ace of spades), and maybe a kings crown. Then again, i'd bet some of you have an even better idea. I'm a biker at heart, so if it looks "cool" that's always a plus. I'd like to avoid setting a definite end time, rather i'd like to just say "a few days". I promise to give a final call of 48 hours before choosing a winner. Thanks for your time, and if you have any questions, just let me know.
Ah I just seen your feedback. You really don't like anything about mine? I was going to try the ace of spades idea but it just didn't seem right. Besides, why would you want people mistaking a bio fuel logo for something dealing with cards.
Well thank you! I was about to go cry in a corner until you came along and complimented me (I wasn't actually gonna go cry in a corner, but still) The whole "drip/splatter" effect You've got going on there is known as "grunge looking" I'm sure you didn't mean for it to be "grunge."
The size is right, but I just don't like the graphic. I guess what i'm looking for doesn't make the most sense in the world. It's not a real business as in making money... it's just something I do as a hobby. Some of the places I go require a uniform, so I thought it was time to find a logo.

No you didn't, its just as a designer it gets frustrating when you create something and its shot down right away. I know its still the same design and concept (i will try working on something totaly new later) but for the time being I figured ide swing your way a little with something that took 10 seconds to add I saw the droplet, and the spade, and I just had to do it
My apologies, I don't have the talent to create any of this stuff. Maybe this will help some...The more I think about it, I think it's where the droplet is coming from. It reminds me of a kitchen sink, and not fuel.
Is the term Big Slick related directly to having an Ace of Spades? What would be more important, the ace? or the spade.
