I have a site up and running that i would like to have google start crawling and get my pagerank up... What is the best way to do this? I use Joomla - do i need to specify keywords in all my content articles under metadata information? along with description Also i have signed up with google webmaster and was verified, though this was before i got my links SEO friendly,do i need them to recrawl my site??? Webmaster has stated i have duplicate metadata tags on 8 of my pages??? What are good tips and tricks are there to get my page ranking up higher? How to build backlinks? I have already submitted my sitemap to webmaster tools for google....Does this sitemap automatically refresh itself, as i have since linked my pages for more soe friendly searches...

Great info - i have generated a sitemap from http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/ and re-submitted to Google Webmaster....Do you know how long it will take before Webmaster crawls your site? Will this mean that my page titles will actually show up in Google when i search for them? Also - Does Webmaster crawl your Metatags and description for your articles (including keywords)?
It can take time, get some backlinks, link exchange and submit your site to digg, that will really help.
it is the links to your site from other sites.. its like they put link to your site on their site.. it can be easily found out by using Google example: search for link:forums.digitalpoint.com in Google

Thanks alot I have provided a sitemap.xml to Google webmaster today, do you know how long on average it takes before my content is indexed to google? and will i know when it has been done?
