It looks like spamming site when i enter your blog. Wondering why you put all your content at the bottom. The visitor only able to see your content after two time roll down. This is not a good idea

First tell him what type of work you’re suggesting him?

In my opinion you should concentrate more on a content not in a makeover of your site.

 

He could start redesigning the site because it's doesn't look quite well with all that black color and gray text color,then he can concentrate on the content.

 

"Nothing is ever its best" - more work dude, more work.

 

Since you're new at this. You probably didn't know you can't steal other people's articles. I dont think those posts are original content

 

Here's what I would do to start with, Jane(...if I were you):

1) Select a nice clean looking Wordpress (or blogger...etc) theme
2) Re-post all the articles you've got on your existing blog
3) Select some helpful plugins for SEO, webform...etc

The first thing I noticed is my eyes go everywhere. You need to make things more uniform and keep your product or call to action above the fold. My 2 cents.

 

With respect, your English reads like Borat, not someone called Mary Jane.

I'd fix all your English first, or get someone with good English writing skills to smooth things out.

Right now, the blog desperately needs some authentic personality and a profile of YOU. Otherwise it just reeks of spam.

 

you need to have more resumed posts first of all, i don't get motivated to read a 100 line post lol, then the design is really "dead", you need something more clean, more white, black is never a good main color, you can get an example of what i'm saying in this small site i'm making for a client http://adventismo.org
