Can you creat a folder with name as "CON"

    Do you know nobody can create a folder anywhere on the computer which can be named as "CON" This is some thing funny and inexplicable

    Micro soft could not answer you :D

    Yup, try this before and the reason of this is all over the Internet.

    Do you know that you also can't create a folder name "Aux", "Nul", "Com1" to "Com9" and "lpt1" to "lpt 9". ;)

    Try dis

    1. Goto DOS
    2. Type MD \\.\C:\CON. The folder will be created. You can check it in Windows Explorer also, but you can't access it
    3. To delete the folder, type RD \\.\C:\CON

    Also, its impossible to make a folder by these names - A:, B:, etc !

    But haven't tried it in DOS yet !

    Never heard of this before... but I guess it all makes sense considering that they would have to limit some words from confusing the software.
