$25 logo contest

Hey there, i Need a logo for Fox Polls Basically, needs to suite the design, it'd be nice to have some kind of fox in the logo, but it's up to you.

I'm offering $25 for this, if it's to low, i may raise it. I'll keep the contest open for 24 hours, i'll send the money via PayPal, if there is a logo i like.

Most of these logos are awesome, It's going to be hard to chose one, I'll post it here on whose i'll choose later on.

@ willhaynes - Great logo, it's clean, good colours to suite my template.

@ scorpionagency - Another great logo, really like the fox icon incorporated into the fox text.

@ witcher - Another great logo, nothing much i'd want to change, possibly the blue text, to make it stand out a little more.

@anthonywebs - good attempt, not to keen on the font.

@ Chewysmom - Not to sure about the border around the text, does not suite it, yet the fox is good.

@g_bot I really like the simplicity off it, though the only problem is, it reminds me way to much of the logo of firefox, but still very good attempt.

Like i said before, all good logos, going to be hard to choose one. I'll post the winner here shortly.

Well yes it is inspired from the firefox logo, that what i wanted to say in my post its not ripped off from the firefox logo. I have been working on some mock-ups this week and picked it up, if you are concerned about its relevancy with the firefox logo i can make changes to it.

My idea about this was to use the popularity of the Firefox logo to familiarize your website with its viewers. Just like a website with the word twitter in it keeps their logo similar to twitter.

Sure, taking inspiration from a logo is fine, there's nothing wrong with that, however your logo, is a blatant copy:



Second, twitter does not protect it's branding as closely as mozilla foundation; which is why it's fine to use twitter branding in a twitter related site. Check out the mozilla's logo guide. They clearly say that their "trademarks may not be modified." Especially to use for someone else's branding

Hi Will, Thanks for pointing out although i can edit the logo right now but i have some family issues so i am pulling out my entry from with competition.


PS: Yours is the only logo i like in this thread (beside mine ) so i hope you win this.

 

Nice to see other designers (Besides myself) actively trying to protect the CH's from copyright infringement hassles.

Lately I've found a few manipulated via http://tineye.com (A graphics search engine that compares images & pulls up duplicates, kinda works like copyscape.com does for text based infringements) Handy tool to find rippoffs

 

I know it doesn't say polls on it, but I liked what I had, so I stuck with it. Feel free to PM me if you're interested.
