An AdSense Story My friend asks me, "How do you afford this stuff?" My friend came over the other day and asked me, "How are you affording this stuff, man? You don't even have a job." Alright, my Digital Point friends; Let's back it up a second. Blogging is my job. Blogging is my job. It's how I make money. Yes. You can make money online, and you can definitely make money with AdSense. You're probably thinking, "Okay, so what the **** am I doing wrong, then?" The mindset of a Common AdSense Failure In quotation "Hey, Tom! Let's make a 5 page blog about Mesothelioma. Then, lets submit our site to a few directories, and make a Youtube video linking to our site. While we're at it, let's call our friends from across the US. They can click our ads and help us out. We'll be rich, bro! " Am I crazy for my generalization of the Common AdSense Failure? Although it seems crazy to think that people actually think they can get rich off a small little garbage website, the majority of the time, they can not and will not. (Affiliate Marketers that know what they're doing can make mad money on small niche website. But we're talking about AdSense for this post) The mindset of an AdSense Winner "I have to work hard to make money!" "Wait! You're telling me that I need to do more than 5 posts per month to make money with AdSense?" That's exactly what I am telling you. Actually, you should probably be doing more than 5 posts a day if you want to make money with AdSense. The Mindset of an AdSense winner has goals! There is no lazy way out. Want to get rich? Make your blog available. How do you do that? You create content. I sometimes get lazy. It happens to the best of us. However, I jumped right back up and said, "Hey! If I want to make money I need to write, write, and write more. I wrote 23 posts today. Not too shabby. I have to cut this short, but here's my schedule.... 4:00 - 4:30 AM ----- Prepare to work 4:30 - 6:30 AM ----- Write Blog Posts 6:30 - 7:00 AM ----- Eat 7:00 - 8:00 AM ----- Build Links 8:00 - 9:00 AM ----- Write Social Spark Posts 9:00 - 9:30 AM ----- Eat 9:30 - 11:30 AM ---- Write Blog Posts 11:30 - 12:00 PM --- Eat 12:00 - 1:00 PM ---- Write Blog Posts 2:00 - 2:30 PM ----- P90X Workout Final Tips and Notes: That's 6 hours of writing, along with 1 hour of building links. You may be also be thinking, "Why does this kid eat so much?" As you have probably experienced, sitting at a computer for a few hours without eating can make your quite tired. It's very important for me and probably for you too, to take a break every 2 or so hours to eat a meal and rest your eyes. Otherwise, you'll always feel tired and under perform. Same goes for the P90X workout. You may think that it has absolutely nothing to do with blogging. In actuality, working out is another major thing that I can do away from blogging, that will make me perform when I do in fact have to blog. Alright, guys. I'm off to bed for now. I know this was a weird post. But I just wanted to basically point out my schedule. I also wanted to point out the fact that writing 1 or 2 posts a day just doesn't cut it.
Interesting i'm sure you would make a bit of money doing that. I suppose most people dream of spending 1 hour a day blogging and the rest doing what ever they want. 99% of people blogging though will never earn more doing this than they would working at maccas for 6 hours per day.
well, i really appreciate your honest post. When laziness is off, the money is ON. i have seen that in my real life and many experiences as well. You post makes sense.. rep++
very nice.I liked this part of the post where you show that there is a break between blog posting - its a good thing.I mean when i type constantly without a break i feel drained. So it is much better to do 2 hours of typing and then involve in link building which might require less typing - and then again go back to typing.Nice post.
Good post. There are two ways here Few blogs, good content; lots of blogs, poor content. Both methods are working. It's up to you, though
Great post dude! I build links for 10 hour and blog for 4 hours 6 days a week and everyday my traffic increase and my Adsense clicks go up. I am number one for about 15 low searched keyword (12,000 to 30,000) and running out of keywords for my niche. I already started working on my second blog in the financial niche, plan to dominate it with is 5 years then retire with only two blogs. If I knew all I know now I would have started in the financial niche. Anyway great post.
Sorry but i f you really waste all this time to a blog i hope you earn much more then 4000$ each month
Well, I actually just started this routine. I was a little lazy last month. (I only worked 10 hours total) But I still made $508.00 with AdSense, Infolinks, Chitika, and Clickbank combined.
I currently have no schedule at all. I am doing no day job: I have to manage my sites. Your schedule looks good and I guess I will have to make a schedule too
Its a good advice. I was wondering why I dont make much money with Adsense and your thread seems to give me the answer. Thanks
"you should probably be doing more than 5 posts a day if you want to make money with AdSense." Well, looks like you hit the nail on the head with that one. Guess I'd better get to writing...and fast. Thanks for the great tips. http://www.LivingVegasFree.com
