MySpace Site | $1,000/month | 4K Uniques/Day

I am now selling my MySpace website, www.GreatMySpaceLayouts.com

    Why am I selling?
My time is limited with school starting. I'd rather sell now so I can focus 100% on my schoolwork.

    Bandwidth Requirements
The site is using a large amount of bandwidth. For one, all layouts are hosted on our website. We don't use imageshack or anything. Why? We want users to come oback. If their layout is broken after 3 days, we won't see any returning visitors. Expect to use about 1.5TB of bandwidth per month. This can be obtained at a cheap price at DreamHost.com - Adsense pays for this

    Monetization
Currently, the website makes around $35 a day with absolutely no advertising. With heavy advertising, I made at least $200/day. Just look at these AdSense stats: [IMG]

    Traffic
Traffic has been good lately. However, since I have not been promoting it for the last week, it has gone down a certain percentage each day. All traffic stats can be viewed here.

    Cost
With such high potential, this website cannot be undersold. I believe a fair price to most websites would be 9 months worth of revenue. Keep in mind, this is 9 months of revenue with no advertising. With advertising, the buying price can be achieved in 4 months. The ads on the script were implemented extremely well, and have a CTR of around 4%. Most of the other MySpace websites have extremely low CTRs. The starting price for the website is $2,000 with a Buy-It-Now of $10,000. The auction will end Friday at 3:00 PM EST.

    Trustworthiness
To ensure a safe and fair transaction, the transaction will be processed through Escrow. I've dealt with them in the past, and have had nothing but good to say about them.

Thank you. I know it was a long post, but this was necessary to eccentuate on the high points of the website.

I'd be interested in purchasing this site but what is the cost of this heavy advertising that you are able to purchase on a "daily" basis looks like.

Just find bulletins. I look around and find good deals. Check the Services > Advertising section of the B/S/T forum.

With the days that you do advertise. What is the cost? Is it more than the money earned? Would you be showing who you advertise with or it's strictly bulletin advertising?

The traffic was generated using means that are both against the TOS of contextual advertisers like Google and Yahoo and certainly of those Myspace. And in many cases, it would be considered highly illegal to this kind of promoting. Furthermore, the same kind of traffic can be generated for any kind of myspace resource site without much effort. Goodluck with the sale.

Considering the source of the traffic and the potential problems from that I'll do a flat offer of $500. Let me know in the next 24 hours.

I don't get why people like you come into threads and bash them and make assumptions. How about asking the damn guy first if the advertising he bought was through illegal bulletin postings (phished accounts).

Thats the reason the revenue dropped totally.
Guys check everything before buying any Myspace related website.

Another issue is myspace resource sites make only a penny or two per click..to earn the revenue he claims he would need many more than 3000 uniques...

I own five of these sites so I think the revenues he has posted are manipiulated via photo editing.

can anyone check his image work?

Phishing is illegal and unethical. I don't see how would anyone buy your site when you use illegal ways to promote it.

I dont get why no one is paying attention to what he posted on the other forum. he admitted fishing. READ post #7. Not only is this unethical, but he should be banned from dp.

Most of the ratings were from his buying not selling I believe....A big difference...

and as noted phishing to earn revenues would make one suspect of the motive behind the sale.

    Peace
