How paypal comes to know that we have used a VCC?

    Hi brothers,

am not sure whether I've done a "WRONG" Thing. I am having two accounts in paypal. One is verified. When I was trying to get verified status in the other account with the same card it showed that that cc has been used by other one and cant use. I was having 350+ USD there with the account which was not verified.

As both the sending and withdrawing limit which wa (500USD) has been used I could not do anything with the money. As I was in need of money urgently yesterday I asked one friend of mine to make it verified with vcc. Am a bit scared now. Will it cause any probs with the money am having over there. I know its not legal to do that, but I was helpless..

Paypal dont knows that you are using a VCC or not.. and its not illegal. Paypal just dont allow the use of it as in future you might get in trouble when they ask for CC statement

As for CC .. You cannot use 1 CC in two accounts.

And why two accounts? Make sure they are of two different types as you may get in trouble.

You can use VCC for now to withdraw the funds.

If you want to verify ur another paypal with the same card,You should remove it from the first paypal,Then add to the second.
You can use VCC,But if ur paypal get limited, you will get into trouble

Hi friend, Actually one of the accounts which is verified is my business account. And the one I verified with VCC is personal. :( What I can do if they ask me cc statement? and why they are asking so? Please make it clear buddy, will it cause some troubles for me?

They won't ask for cc statement until and unless your PayPal gets limited.
So, if you got any dispute, they can ask for it anytime. :) Otherwise, they won't.

Hi friend, I don't understand how my account becomes limited. Could anybody tell this? Disputes means if am making some problems with some one else's payment or? Can you please clarify this? Thanks

No, disputes means if someone else is doing anything with the payments they sent it to you !
I mean like someone sent you money then opened a dispute then PayPal limits accounts most of the time !

I am using a VCC since 3 years and have faced around 20-30 disputes.. But they never asked for CC statement .. I have only seen in cases when Paypal Dispute is larger than 1000$

So You are safe untill you do transaction of 1000+$

Hi friends thanks for the information. So until and unless am making any problem with the transactions I will be safe. And will there be any option to change the credit card? I mean after some days if am taking a new one? Can i tell them to change the card with the new one?

and dear AaRGeE in the other thread I asked you a doubt about the possiblility of making calls for free from skype for a personal account. :)

Ya, you can easily remove or add new cards ! :D

There is not need of telling them about it ! It can be done without talking to them ! By simply going to your profile and adding a new cc option.

Hi friends, thanks for the help.. I think till the day am getting another credit card, If am keeping good relations with the people and payments with out any disputes and problems, I won't be having any problems with paypal, isn't it? And most of my transactions are via my bank account..But still the doubt is there that why they ask credit card statements if disputes arises in the case there are no transactions at all with the credit card ;)...But apart from this all of my doubts are cleared, thanks guys...thank you very much for clearing the doubts..

if you don't attract any attention doing illegal actions, Paypal should not limit your account and ask for your CC statement ;)

they wont know about that vcc, you will only get trouble when they will be asking for a cc statement.

But if we get a real cc before that, no problem. we can remove the VCC and can update it. :)
