OK I had a pingback on this topic here: http://www.thetechyblog.com/chew-wga-0-6-yet-another-windows-7-activator/ But its not showing in the comments section? I have accepted it. It even says "One Response" but there is nothing under it? Does anyone know whats wrong?
Yes thats where it started out and I approved it. It came up as having a comment in the post but it just dont show up.
It is possible that your comments.php file in your theme directory is not set to display pingbacks. I would recommend double checking it. If not sure - backup your file - grab comments.php from Latest WordPress Default theme and place into your theme folder - if pingback is displayed - go to theme developer and ask for fix. If not - sorry, this might require more detailed investigation
I think yu have played with your wordpress code. better you update your wordpress files of: index.php, comments.php
Check by going to WP-ADmin>>Settings>>Discussion and check whether the option: Allow link notifications from other blogs (pingbacks and trackbacks.) is unchecked? If unchecked, then check it. Also check the corresponding post by going to Edit post and check whether Allow Pingbacks is enabled or not. If both are enabled, then post here comments.php and functions.php contents here of your theme.
