Yes, that is safe, Angela + Paul are offering good backlinks sources. I am getting more traffic from those sources...
It's about building backlinks on high PR sites, usually by creating a profile. Normally the PR of the profile page would be PR0. Angela builds lists of such sites and sells them on a monthly basis. The main problem is that these sites get swamped by people creating profiles which can often end up with the newly created profile pages being deleted.
I have a friend that swears by them and says it really helps his affiliate based websites. He gave me Angela's and Paul's packets from the last year- I'm having someone build about 60 links this way a week for two months. I will let you know if it makes a difference in 90 days... I guess we will see.
I don't see the harm in this. I think you need to keep a fresh list of sites though in case some forums clean up 'junk' profiles.
Waste of time. Could get your sites in a lot of bother. The reason is that the lists that she offers are that cheap that everyone is getting them and they're then getting passed around in blackhat forums, freebie forums etc. Flags are going off when hundreds (or thousands) are going at these at the same time. Some of the sites have put blocks up and I have heard that they have been writing "spam lists" so I'd give it a miss. It could work if she raised the value of the packets, but it doesn't look like this is gonna happen. She seems a nice lady and packets are well presented etc, but they've fallen into the wrong hands now and the sites are getting abused with crappy spam links.
I can't see the value in profiles links.... The profile page is usually PR0 or not even indexable... I don't know what they charge for that service but if you are looking for forum profiles links ask any of the guys offering xrumer blasts and tell them to only create accounts without posting, you'll probably get many more links for a quarter of the price. Sincerely I don't recommend it, it looks spammy both done manually or with xrumer. If you want to build links in forums choose a couple of boards related to your website per week, create an account and become a member of the community, at least you'll have the signature link in the posts which usually are indexed much faster and have a little more value than your forum profile.
Could you please tell some more information about this method. See below many are complaining that profiles are deleted even with in the time of report. Will it really help?
Some people say it does work , but I don't think it carry's any value ! I would wanna go with SEOsapien on this one !
It may be a cheaper source compared to the big boys like SEOnuke. Other than that, I find angela's backlinks as beneficial.
I still prefer posting on sites that are do follow and have a high PR if I want to gain backlinks, well Paul and Angela's way are pretty effective but not all the time
I use this method for my own site and used it on one of my technology blog and it is getting the free traffic that I want and also get ranked highly for the term that I targeted.
Please explain how you get free traffic from a method where links are placed in profile pages that noone would visit.
I am not getting direct traffic from the sites where I placed the links. It helps to bring in targeted traffic because these backlinks increase my SERPs ranking and make my site visible on the first page for some keyword phrases that I targeted.
OK thanks for explaining this. I can't decide whether the method works or not so it's good to hear other people's experiences. I might try this method on a site I have that has no inbound links on a long tail keyword so that I can verify whether it works and how effective it is (if at all).
