I'm not sure if I am posting this question in the right place because I don't know what the changes entail.

Basic question though. How can I change joomla script to mysite.com/joomla without 301 redirect. I want to use the homepage (mysite.com) for wordpress.

    thanks

if you are using joomla 1.5, just move everything into the folder you want and it should work.

As the previous poster suggested, simply put joomla into its own
    subdomain or folder.

Contact me if there are any problems with Joomla after
using the same database as your Wordpress installation.

Yep, no problems. Good luck with your site. I saw you used the
Wordpress Theme "Thesis".... not too shabby.

Yep, not sure if I like it yet. I use StudioPress on my other site and LOVE 'em. Google love it too because the SERPs are amazing!

I'm not sure if Thesis can compete... so far, not very good. I'm having trouble getting google to recognize the new published content. For a 7 year old domain, you'd think google would be gobbling it all up... I even put the http:/xtrememusic.net link in the footer of my big and highly ranked site.

Guess this should be a new thread.
