Low earnings!

I have a small site, about sport, and i am putting Adsense on it

Yesterday I am surprised to see that

2 clicks= 0.02 $

CTR= 0.36 %

why the earning and CTR is too low?

You're not the only one who's getting low earnings even me I get 2 clicks but $0.01 only.

Well, that happens sometimes... May be if you will get visitors from other countries you will earn more !

And your niche also seems to be low paying thats why you got only $0.01 per click.

Yes it may be wise to explore other options such as CPM or banner ads. I found Google paid me well for the clicks I sent (USA, targeted) but that I wasn't getting many so I switched to selling 125 x 125 ad spots.

 

Traffic:

12.40% form USA

2.60% from Canada

 

Sport's isn't a very high-paying niche, IMO.

 

Sport niche cant get very good pay.
The CTR affected by your trafic source, content and ads placement/colour

 

2 click - means nothing. You should get at least 100 to see average bid

 

It happens sometimes. Your number of clicks and your CTR tell that you don't have much traffic. Try to increase your traffic first. If your CTR is still low, then you may need to change your ad placements. Good luck.

and where is the rest of the traffic coming from; i suggest you to have at least 75% of traffic from USA; this should in theory increase your earnings 6 times; if you are lucky and your website becomes popular; then you might hit the jackpot.

Well better you work with your content and SEO work, Earnings will be up once you get organic traffic which provides you better CTR then other types of traffic!

You can have more profit by trying to get visitors from other countries.

You can also try building your site for more traffic by commenting on blogsites that is related with yours. By that you can attract more visitors.

try to pimp your site too, by writing nice and informative contents about your site.
