I would think its a good idea to upload things people want to download and upload content daily.The bigger file size the better.. Personally,I really like U Got File and Deposit Files.I`m surprised U.G.F hardly gets mentioned round here.10$ per 1000 d/l`s and a really good remote upload for premium members.D.F is pretty steady too.
The thing I hate about DF is they only count one IP address instead of per download. How about that other site you mentioned?
Hmmm..... Does hotfile have any space restrictions for their free accounts? For example megaupload will only allow 50 gigs of space for their free accounts. Do you have to have a paid account to collect money from them? Do download links have any account information associated with them? (Ie is your username in there?)

Actually I did, saw no info on the site, send them an email, and while waiting for a response (which usually never happens with file hosters) decided to post a question here about my concerns. They have that "1 point from each ip per 24 hrs" rule that I was asking about. All those downloads go to waste. I'd stay away from them.
ya right the file hosts which count only 1 download per 1 ip in 24 hrs are nothing more than a shit...even i m looking for a gud file host which counts all downloads whether frm same ip ?? i have heard abt the filechip.com...if anyone have knowledge abt it pls share....!!!
Sweet, if u join hotfile.com you'll get the silver rank for 1 day which means they pay Silver $5-$10 per 1000 dls which is kinda ok considering the paying-every-dl policy. BUT the next day you'll end up as copper which brings u $2-$4 per 1000 dls. And as far as I can tell u stay at this level this the re-evaluate you ur doing. Fellas even if the count every dl as copper that'll give u a 0,004 tops per dl but DF on the other hand gives u up to 0,02 $. Anyhow let as asume they'll only give u 0,015 $ that gives u the following calc. 1 DF dl @ above 1MB 0,015$ = 3 hotfile dl @ above 100MB copper level 1 DF dl @ above 1MB 0,02 $ = 5 hotfile dls @ avove 100MB copper level the situation only gets better for hotfile at platinum and maybe at gold. U could only do better if you crapp out links at above 100Mb and spread em bulk on a daily basis. But than again 2 reach the levels that are worth it..... well I think it's like in that Dean Martin song... you're nobody till somebody loves you ;-) meaning u have to work wonders unless there are user that buy premuim through your ref. Well there was this one fella that promoted filechip.com heavily.. however he got banned. Still I'm not aware of a payment-proof. In addition do the math: The page says: You earn up to 10 USD for 3000 points. ($ 0,0033 per dl) AND We only pay out when download points are at least 60% of the your total points! That means if u want to get the pay,u can not only prombote the affiliate link! And the affiliate link points change to 10! Sounds to me like either u sell premium account or u aint getting nothing but by all means give it a try maybe u get lucky and we well pay u. And even more u can only store up to 600 Mb and really face it how is gonna buy a premuim account with em if u pay for 1 month almost the cash as u would for a mainstream hoster with TBs of hot stuff ;-) There is a friction hoster cant pay u for every dl and give u a high rate..... that would be like.... a charity ;-) I mean hotfile.com they don't show ads there only revenu source is selling premium. And having that in mind premium start at $3 for a day. So 3 bucks minus power costs, minus hosting costs, minus salaries, insurance... minus cash for uploaders and whats left is supposed to be something in order for them to make profits ;-) I know it's a mixed calulation and that there a anual accounts and so on. But we all want the big cash out of uploading and we get the most out of freeloaders. Freeloaders are yet to buy accounts but for the moment being the only generate costs. I mentioned HF but the same goes for every other company.
I have gone through so many file hosts but still not able to judge which host should i preffer as earlier i was using uploading.com & earning 3-5$ daily but now as they have changed their paying rates so now its foolishness to being with them....So pls suggest me a gud file hosts which have following qualities 1. A gud pay rate atleast 2$/1000 downloads 2. Count every single download not according to the ip address & from all the countries 3.Count small files like 1 mb. 4.There shud not be variation in pay rate as in H.F according to your account status. i have gone through the easyshare.com & enterupload.com...is enterupload allows porn content ??can anyone pls provide some more info abt both of them...or if someone likes to suggest some other filehost pls go ahead...
If you do at least 5-10 dollars per 1,000 and count every download and do not have a minimum file size below 5 MB, then you will probably have everyone beat. If you only counted USA traffic and gave really high rates for that like 20 dollars or more per 1,000, I am sure most would be content with that. They could use hotfile for the other countries. If you were successful and reliable, I would gladly sign up with you. Also you must remember to think realistic. Could you afford to pay out high rates all the time? Most have dropped because the answer for them was no. If you start high and drop your rates, then you will just make your users angry (like uploading.com did)
In my experience the only host that will give you near what you want is Hotfile.I`m no way their biggest fan but I`m back on them for a while trying out the new system.For me its turning into a bit of a crusade finding the best overall host.Possibly the key is to use several hosts.Dont put all your eggs in one basket as some will tell you..I`m using 4 or 5 at the minute and chopping and changing between them all every now and then.I`ve even started a blog up detailing the ins and outs of this (link in sig) because things seem to be changing weekly. Probably the best advice I could give here is try a few out and see what works best for you.Even try a few mirrors of the links and see what makes most bucks.Dont forget you`re probably in this for the long run so a little experimentation should be worth the time and effort. good luck..
