You have one side (radical islamic groups) claiming they are fighting for "god." The other side in the current battle, Israel, is simply defending. Even if you want to go out on a limb and say it's all Israel's fault, they are not doing it in the name of religion.

You don't have to be a Christian to realize that Jesus preached and practiced love, you don't have to be a Bhuddist to understand that Bhuddism teaches peace ... you don't have to have any religious conviction in order to realize that the Quran produces hatred.

 

I do believe in God and I'll tell you more, no religion is born to be evil or to kill.

Chistianity and Judaism promote love and peace and so does Islam.

It's the little minority of fundamentalists who use it for their needs and change the meanings to fit their own goals.

And of course violence causes more violence and of course all the media, on all sides is biased to serve its own goals...
