$350 Acne Website Design

Hello,

This contest if for an upcoming acne remedy product website.
We will try to provide you with the full details.

Product Name + Site Name: a_c.n_e.v_e.t_o (dot) com (remove . and _ )

Site Genre: Acne Remedy Treatment (combination of herbal pills + cream)

Site Slogan: A Fresh Start

Look & Feel: A clean web 2.0 feel. This must be a top quality professional design. It needs to be eye catching and make you want to buy the product. It needs to be UNIQUE and not one of those readymade templates.

Pages: The website will have 6 pages. Homepage, About Us, Testimonials, How it works, Ingredients, F.A.Q

Layout: You can use any kind of layout, be as creative as possible.

1. You can have the Nav. bar on the top above the header or below the header. You can also place the Nav. bar on the side but i think that kinda kills the proportion of the page but you can still try that ( might just look good).

2. You can use different header graphic for each of the 6 pages or keep it the same for all.

3. Keep it neat. Dont like clustered layouts.

4. We will be offering 3 sized packages.
a) 1 cream + 1 bottle of pill
b) 3 cream + 3 bottle of pill
c) 5 cream + 5 bottle of pill
There Won't be separate checkout page. All these 3 offer boxes should be visible from all the 6 pages. You can probably have these 3 boxes right under the header ( this is just a suggestion). Probably you creative guys can come up with something else also.

Colour Scheme: No set colour scheme. Its a new website therefore you can use your imagination and creativity. However we would prefer web 2.0 colours (glossy and bright) Some of our preferences are a clean blue on a white background.

Content: Just use some generic content for all the 6 pages right now. But it should be easy to change in the future once we have our sales copy ready. Use generic product images because we are in the final stages of packaging development. Our cream and pill jars are of the same shape as THIS.

Prize: $300

Payment: Via PayPal only

References: (there are just references, please use your own creativity and come up with a design that's attractive)
Sites we like: Site1 Site2 Site3 Site4 Site5 Site6 Site7 - But we dont need an opt-in box like some of these sites

Sites we find too simple: Site1 Site2 Site3 Site4 Site5

Sites we dont like: Site1 (too clustered)

Contest Length: Till we dont find the right one.

Extra: The winning designer can choose to be able to code this (just html coding) for an extra $50 making it a total $350

Feedback will be given to all designs. But please be a bit patient.

Does be coded? Sorry, I read the whole thing but still I'm confused, So $300 for the design and $50 for coding? So say someone won the contest with just .PSD web design, would they get the $300? If yes, I'll enter

Can the background be made grey instead of white

 

Oh YESSS..... It can be any color..... the color scheme that we suggested was just for an idea.... you can use any colors and any kind of layout.......use your own creativity and imagination and come up wid the best Acne website .....It should make a person buy the product.....

 

so...who ever wins should do the other 5 pages?.... for $300?

 

Hi.. Yes the winner will be the one who makes all the 6 pages ( complete website) not just the Homepage. The website should have 6 pages as follows:
Homepage, About Us, Testimonials, How it works, Ingredients, F.A.Q
It should not be very tough to make all 6 pages as most of them would be the same as the homepage apart from a few changes here n there ( header images etc) and probably a few minor changes in the layout

 

May I inquire the approximate deadline for this contest ?

 

AN IMPORTANT UPDTE​

I request all of you to make just the index page ( homepage ) initially and post it here in this thread for review. Do NOT make all the 6 pages. I really dont want you guys to waste a lot of time designing all the pages. The index page itself will give us a fairly good enough idea.... and once we decide a winner, the winner can make the other 5 pages and claim the prize money.

 

2nd IMPORTANT UPDTE​

The website width should be between 790 - 800 pixels.
Height will obviously be set according to the content.

 

Here is a preview of where I'm at. It's a little smaller then what you asked (760px wide) I can change it but I wanted to get some feedback and make sure you liked it before I continued.

Hi,

The site is looking too simple. And not much has been done apart from the header and the navigation bar at the top. The logo at the top is Ok and so is the navigation bar but the header needs to be more impressive.

Thanks for the design graphicslover. The design is looking too blue and too clustered. The header is too loud for our liking. We are looking for something more simple yet impressive.
