The daily show on comedy central. Honestly I can't bring myself to watch any of the "mainstream" news channels any longer.

    Fox, according to ratings.

However, terrorist organizations can get insightful news on classified and secret programs by subscribing to the New York Times.

I agree, I'm with Fox on this one. (plus they host the show 24, so there really isn't any other channel out there anyway! :D)

Don't just watch the news. Study the details.
And try to see sources of news that show views that differ from your own views.

BBC is the best by far (I am in the USA too).

However, I prefer just to search print media sources around the world via my media connection. Media outlets all over spin things to their audience by under or over reporting.

Never trust a station that must continually tell viewers that their are "fair" and "balanced". God forbid someone come to that conclusion on their own.

You can't be fair/balanced and survive in today's media market. People tune in to be further indoctrinated. If you were fair, you would have to say things that viewers wouldn't like and thus they would tune out and thus you would end up doing the news at your local community college.

No. Fox is a fair and balanced joke. :D

Actually, I watch it from time to time. I have to. Fox News Watch is a fun show. I don't pay attention to Hannity & Hannity. He's thinks everyone that cares about the environment is a tree-hugging left-wing fanatical liberal--as he puts it.

Perhaps he should have stayed in college. When I see him, I think about those old commercials that showed the frying eggs--"this is your brain on drugs."
