Every day I get like 5 -10 paypal disputes. This is out of 40 - 60 transactions every day. Is this too much? I always refund anybody with any problem as soon as I get the dispute. I have had the account for a little less than a year. Anybody got any experience with this? Thanks.

It is too much. You must not be a very good website creator if you get so many disputes.

Probably those 5-10 people are just trying to get your product for free. If your product is digital paypal in most cases will take side of the buyer.

Do you use 2checkout.com? if Not , please use it. They accept paypal and their fraud service must will reduce your dispute case.

Wow, that's too much. I've never experienced getting any disputes, but I don't have that much transactions. :)

Yup.If so,I think paypal will limit ur account... you had better use moneybooker or ask the buyer pay ur payment via mass pay

I actually only get 0 - 2 disputes a day per 40 - 60 transactions. I was exaggerating just see if people have it worse than me. I do get worried because I here so many stories about paypal messing with peoples account and I can't have that happen right now. Do you think 0 - 2 disputes per 40 - 60 transactions is bad? This is about every day, some days i'll have no disputes and sometimes I'll have a bad day and end up with 2, today I had 3....

You must really think about what could be the problem. 10/40 disputes is really high. mine is say 1 in 100. and i would admit it as a misunderstanding between me and the person

Why do they make a dispute? Is it because they are not satisfied with your product or are they just trying to get it from you for free?

Could it just be a matter of miscommunication? You need to improve your customer service and be very particular in payment details. Getting Paypal disputes very often is not good in a business.

What is the field of your work? Try getting an script for paypal so you can keep track of payments and who made them, easily.

I too believe that is too much for paypal. If that continues you will be in trouble.

Your main goal should be to lower your number of disputes... preferably, nothing.

Are you selling a product or a service? If so, why are they being disputed? Just improving your services or the quality of your product can decrease those refund/dispute rates.
