You need to develop a website or blog, where people who have some interest will visit. For website you need good niche. niche is the main theme of your website. other things are also important like SEO (Search Engine Optimization) for your website, Targeted users, advertisement, ad placements etc.. But yet most important thing is "GOOD CONTENT". You will find many Advertiser company in this forum.

In my experience google adsense is paying more compared to others. But the risk of getting banned is also high in google adsense.

Hey Jen, I have tried PPC-Coach and Wealthy Affiliate. Never heard of AffiliIt until now, how do they compare to the other 2?

 

I am an active member of all three forums and they all have their strengths.
PPC Coach is good if you already know what you're doing. And WA is good if you are very new or like article marketing.

AffiliIT is a blend of the other two. It's great and supportive for new people, but still challenging for those who have been around a bit.

Another point is AffiliIT relatively new so the methods being taught there are up to date. Plus - I have only been there a few weeks, but already I've made more money using their methods than anywhere else. (huge bonus!)
