    Hey Guys,

My new product was approved by Clickbank less than 48 hours ago and is converting at an incredible 1 In 13!!! Here's the proof...

    Dominate Mafia Wars
    75% Commission of a $27 sale

I spent a lot of time working on this one. I outsourced the guide and then gave it away on some forums to get feedback and made changes. I think what we have is a very solid product that should have a very low refund rate.

The sales letter was crafted and honed for maximum sales and modeled after the successful WoW guides out there. As many of you know, this is not my first product (actually my 8th!) and I'm getting my techniques pretty dialed in. I anticipate this being my biggest and best yet.

Why You Should Promote This Product

    • The market for this product is huge! Mafia Wars is the most popular social networking game online today. For example, search YouTube for something like "Mafia Wars Cheats" and see the volume.
    • They keywords available for this are incredible. There are so many low and no competition ultra high-traffic keywords available.
    • I have not seen a product convert this well. I can hardly believe it. And, I'm a PPC hack...someone with some skill could really kill it. Plus, there is virtually no competition with bum marketing such as Ezine. Let's make some money!

The affiliate section is pretty complete right now with professionally designed banners, "Tweet This" buttons, and some great keyword lists. I'll be adding more after the weekend.

Let me know if you guys need anything else or if you have any questions. Let's make some serious money on this one!

    Scotty

P.S. A note on how I made those sales above over the last 48 hours.

I popped this campaign on the content network with about 500 keywords, paying an average of 13 cents a click. Although, CB is showing a 13 hops per sales, Adwords is showing less than 11 clicks per sale. I'm assuming that I clicked on my ad a few times in the Adwords interface while testing everything out.

Here's some proof from my Adwords account (since I know some of you guys are a bit skeptical).

Let me know if you want anymore proof.

ok, I don't mean to sound like an arse but this would be a very hard product to promote. There is not a lot of demand for Mafia wars games and the long tail phrases to promote it with aren't that great either....

Wow, I can't believe that ezine article has so many views:eek:, I had to check it out for myself...this is the one right? Looks like you picked a good niche!

Yep, that's the one. The ezine competition is virtually non-existant. No offense to the author of that article, but it's pretty poorly done in the SEO department. This should be pretty easy to replicate.

    Sweet! Glad to have you.

We did something like 38 sales yesterday. Gravity is just below 9. Not bad for a product that's only a few days old.

C'mon in Mill, the water is a nice 82 degrees and crystal clear. Glad to see you're on board. Let's make some money together!

Everyone, I do support Google/Yahoo/MSN tracking. Just PM me your tracking codes and I'll get them on the thank you page. There is no traffic coming from MSN and Yahoo so if some of you PPC'ers want to jump on that, there's some easy money.

It's working now. I'm moving the vids offsite as we speak.

It seems that this thread was closed for a bit and then when it was re-opened, some of the replies were deleted. Not sure what happened. I contacted DP but heard nothing and then it was back up again. Oh well. I'll start with Faclez's question and then provide some more info.

I have been direct linking but I would recommend the "personal recommendation" style review page. It almost ALWAYS converts better for me. I was just testing but have pulled back as to not compete with affiliates.

    -----

Sales have been coming in steadily and I am very happy with the success. Not to take anything for granted, we are working hard to increase the "perceived value" of the product.

I want this to be a long term venture and I anticipate competition coming very soon! ;) Rest assured, your marketing efforts will be rewarded for months and hopefully years to come. We are already working to expand the guide to include even more tips, tricks, strategies, and "cheats." Coming very soon (this week), will be an awesome bonus directly tied to the product. Not some crap PLR stuff, but a very hot bonus that will be as valuable as the guide itself. This should dramatically increase conversions even further.

I'm wanting to increase the value and return for both the customers and the affiliates. If there is anything I can do for any of you, just let me know.

I've helped several affiliates make sales and our gravity is already almost 12. Not bad for a product that is only a few days old. We made it into the top 10 on CB-Analytics "Top Gravity Gain" and I'm hoping for top 5 by the end of the week.

On another note, the videos are now being hosted by Amazon Web Services so this should speed up their loading and make sure we don't have any bandwidth issues.

As always, PM me for any help or with questions.

    Thanks,

    Scotty

The other moderators felt they brought no value to the thread. Good luck type posts can be sent by PM or use the rep system. Affiliate support can be done via PM too.

100 hops and no sale type posts don't really help anyone. If you want to leave a decent review of your conversions/tracking/landing pages then fine.

A mod speaks... that is refreshing, thanks ... and btw, are you still modding on NC?

I made my first sale after around 200 hops.
This means the method is working and I think with a few optimizations I can get even more sales.
Any update about the product owner?
