No, I didn't PM him. I wasn't sure how much to offer.

I took jerbrock28 up on his offer. Since other people are asking about the results of MySpace bulletins, I'll post about my experience.

He has an account with 16500+ friends. For $5, he sent 1 bulletin, around 8 PM Eastern time. It was last Friday, I think. I got 26 visitors from the bulletin. That's a response rate of less than a quarter of 1%.

However, I have to admit that I'm actually pretty happy with it. I think I'd work with jerbrock28 again. It only cost $5 -- the same number of visitors from Google would have cost me $6 or so. And to be honest, as this was my first bulletin, I'm fairly sure I could do much better. Here is the text I used (no graphics, trying to make it look like a "real" bulletin):

I'm not sure how many of the 26 actually converted into members. I wasn't tracking. I suspect only 1 or 2.
