Is orkut better than fb?

    orkut is good to find people or old friends as its to common and mots person having account there (ya many inactive too)
    + orkut is too simple to use
    eye friendly
    but there application system sucks

    about facebook
    its advanced site
    developers can earn from there

    totaly diffrent base of both site

    i will say both good in there side

    I was a huge fan of orkut 3 years ago..but not now...Facebook is 100% better than orkut ..but new users of facebook may face some problems in the begining ..

    I agree, orkut has it's purposes but I still prefer FB. I don't really think there's any comparison between the two myself.

    I still prefer Facebook.. The theme is irrelevant for me because the said social networking site is cool and fun overall.. The applications are really entertaining.. I get stuck on my comp seat everytime I play Facebook games.. No one would ever mind if the theme of Facebook is plain white.. :)

    as far as i noticed orkut is used by people mostly in brazil and india.. i also use orkut but am addicted to facebook... am literally all day on it.. facebook is anytime better than orkut.. anytime...

    Orkut is a little faster than Facebook because it is powered by Google servers and has great features. Orkut has more users than Facebook (mostly from India and Brazil). I like Facebook because all of my friends are on Facebook.

    orkut is much user friendly that FB.... it also uses less bandwidth than that of FB... but FB is more popular than FB...

    It depends on which aspects we are comparing them. In general, better place for communication is this one where you have more friends. FB is more popular in my country and my vote is for it. I think Orkut was used most in Basil
