The point in this thread is that a lot of young girls are getting LEGALY raped in many muslims countries. The more people around the world stand up against these practices, the better are the chances for the young muslim girls to enjoy their childhood. Muslim men, these young children could be your sisters, you children or grand children, or the friends of your children. Do something, God will see it and reward you for that.

Please focus on this topic. If you wish to discuss something else pelase open a new thread. Thank you.

The text is framed as an explanation by Jesus on the Mount of Olives concerning the life of Joseph, his stepfather. Agreeing with Mary's continued virginity, the text proclaims that Joseph had four sons (Judas, Justus, James, and Simon) and two daughters (Assia and Lydia) by a previous marriage. At age 90, after the death of his first wife, Joseph is given charge of the twelve year old virgin Mary. She lives in his household raising his youngest son James 'the less' along with Judas, until the time she is to be married at age 14 1/2.

you do not know that there are more young children being raped by muslem men than christian men.
can you show us proof of that.
children are abused all over the world. i have no problem with you trying to help them, but that is not your intention. you only want to help the muslem children. can i ask why are you more interested of helping the children that are being raped by muslem man and not the one that are being raped by christian man?
can you show proof of all these children being raped?
if you want to help children you can start from here and maybe find a way to really help.

    GOTCHA! :)

First of all the info that you give is not a reliable source!!!

" ...The New Testament apocrypha are a number of writings by early Christians that give accounts of Jesus and his teachings, the nature of God, or the teachings of his apostles and of their lives. These writings often have links with those books which are regarded as "canonical". Not every branch of the Christian church is in agreement as to which writings are to be regarded as "canonical" and which are "apocryphal" (See the Gospel according to the Hebrews)..... "

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Testament_apocrypha

I REPEAT AGAIN, NO ONE FOR SURE KNOWS HOW OLD WAS JESUS' MOTHER MARY WHEN SHE CONCEIVED FROM THE "SPIRIT".

I know muslims want for well known reasons to put her age as low as possible and the age of Joseph as high as possible, but there are no reliable sources to prove their age.

    Christ’s Birth Announced to Mary

26 Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, 27 to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. 28 And having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!”[c]
29 But when she saw him,[d] she was troubled at his saying, and considered what manner of greeting this was. 30 Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. 31 And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name JESUS. 32 He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. 33 And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.”
34 Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?”
35 And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God. 36 Now indeed, Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son in her old age; and this is now the sixth month for her who was called barren. 37 For with God nothing will be impossible.”
38 Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.
    Mary Visits Elizabeth

39 Now Mary arose in those days and went into the hill country with haste, to a city of Judah, 40 and entered the house of Zacharias and greeted Elizabeth. 41 And it happened, when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, that the babe leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. 42 Then she spoke out with a loud voice and said, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb! 43 But why is this granted to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? 44 For indeed, as soon as the voice of your greeting sounded in my ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy. 45 Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told her from the Lord.”

    The Birth of Jesus Christ
18This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit. 19Because Joseph her husband was a righteous man and did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.
20But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, "Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. 21She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus,[c] because he will save his people from their sins."

22All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: 23"The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel"[d]—which means, "God with us."

24When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife. 25But he had no union with her until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus

    Matthew 2
    The Visit of the Magi
1After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi[a] from the east came to Jerusalem 2and asked, "Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him."
3When King Herod heard this he was disturbed, and all Jerusalem with him. 4When he had called together all the people's chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Christ[c] was to be born. 5"In Bethlehem in Judea," they replied, "for this is what the prophet has written:
6" 'But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah,
    are by no means least among the rulers of Judah;
for out of you will come a ruler
who will be the shepherd of my people Israel.'[d]"

7Then Herod called the Magi secretly and found out from them the exact time the star had appeared. 8He sent them to Bethlehem and said, "Go and make a careful search for the child. As soon as you find him, report to me, so that I too may go and worship him."

9After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen in the east[e] went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was. 10When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. 11On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold and of incense and of myrrh. 12And having been warned in a dream not to go back to Herod, they returned to their country by another route.

    The Escape to Egypt
13When they had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. "Get up," he said, "take the child and his mother and escape to Egypt. Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the child to kill him." 14So he got up, took the child and his mother during the night and left for Egypt, 15where he stayed until the death of Herod. And so was fulfilled what the Lord had said through the prophet: "Out of Egypt I called my son."[f]
16When Herod realized that he had been outwitted by the Magi, he was furious, and he gave orders to kill all the boys in Bethlehem and its vicinity who were two years old and under, in accordance with the time he had learned from the Magi. 17Then what was said through the prophet Jeremiah was fulfilled:
18"A voice is heard in Ramah,
    weeping and great mourning,
    Rachel weeping for her children
    and refusing to be comforted,
    because they are no more."[g]

    The Return to Nazareth
19After Herod died, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt 20and said, "Get up, take the child and his mother and go to the land of Israel, for those who were trying to take the child's life are dead."
21So he got up, took the child and his mother and went to the land of Israel. 22But when he heard that Archelaus was reigning in Judea in place of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there. Having been warned in a dream, he withdrew to the district of Galilee, 23and he went and lived in a town called Nazareth. So was fulfilled what was said through the prophets: "He will be called a Nazarene."

There is a clear evidence Joseph was a righteous man and who could do the will of God as instructed.

It is obvious that Jesus mother and step father were chosen by God, so if you don't like anything about them you should compain you know to who. :)

Obviously Joseph was old enough that he needed the help of a Roman Soldier to make Mary pregnant. ;)

That is even if this Jesus person ever existed.

Are you stuborn or are you playing stupid or are you just reading whatever fits you, and don't pay attention to the things you don't like to hear???

I'll say it out and loud for you: I TRY TO HELP MUSLIM YOUNG GIRLS NOT TO GET RAPED BECAUSE THE LAW IN MANY MUSLIM COUNTRIES ALLOWS CHILD MARRIAGE AND WITH IT CHILD RAPE!!! The law in many muslim countries does not protect young girls from being married and raped.

In Christian countries that is ILLIGAL! In Christian countries the law protects those girls.
DO YOU UNDERSTAND THIS NOW PIZAMEN???

i said the law has to be canged but you started babbling about religion.
if you want the laws changed you have to show that there is less child abuse in places that have the laws that you suggest. is there more child abuse in saudi arabia than lets say england?
can you show us that. or in india or in malysia or france?
what law do you want changed? what country? do you have aa reference of this law? maybe a link? you seem to be very passionate about this so give us more information
we want concrete information. then maybe we can write to these governments and try to change things.
we can all blog about it. but we need more info.
show us how much you really care.
first a link to a law that you do not ike
then a link to a law that you like
some cause and effect statics on how the lives of children improved by your favorite law that you want implemented in a particular country
for example this is happening in may non islamic country. that have laws to protect the children. you must show how a new law will protect the children you want to protect. you can not ask people to change their way of life on your say so

    IT IS CALLED SHARIA LAW.
.................... Sheikh Abdul Aziz Al-Sheikh, the kingdom's grand mufti, said in remarks last January quoted in the regional Al-Hayat newspaper. "A girl aged 10 or 12 can be married. Those who think she's too young are wrong and they are being unfair to her."

Al-Sheikh reportedly made the remarks when he was asked during a lecture about parents forcing their underage daughters to marry.

"We hear a lot in the media about the marriage of underage girls," he said, according to the newspaper. "We should know that Sharia law has not brought injustice to women."

Sharia law is Islamic law. Saudi Arabia follows a strict interpretation of Islam called Wahhabism......
