    Hello,

It's me again, requesting you to please review my site NFLInsider.net. I would really appreciate if you let me know your thoughts and your experience on this site. What do you think about the top banner, the NFL Shop and the colors. How can I improve it?

    Please let me know.

    Thanks,

Besides the fact that "NFL" is a trademark everything looks pretty decent. I would get rid of the ads that are on the bottom right. The ones way way down there. Maybe switch to CPM. Over all its a nice looking website. Good Luck.

Thats like having "googleinsider . com"... You still are using the trademark name. You may have no worries, just remember I am just warning you.

No man, you are right. I appreciate you pointing this out. I had no idea. Basically my site is a news aggregator but all of my links point to the relevant sources. Is there a way I can avoid getting sued without having to think of another name? Maybe say something like "not affiliated with NFL" or something? I have already got a domain called UFCInsider.net, i'm sure UFC is a trademark also. Am I totally screwed as far as the name is concerned?

Well you will not get sued outright, but if it gains in popularity and rankings in the search; then you may here from their lawyers. You would probably get a C&D first. If you don't comply with it, then you can expect a lawsuit. If you choose not to buy another domain name, remember to go with some brand-able next time. Such as footballjunkies or something along those lines. It's best to look for trademark terms. Search google and that should help you find out if its trademarked or not. uspto.gove is the site I think where you can search if it is a trademarked name or not.

They usually have problems when people are making money off of their name. He has ads up, so its a potential problem.
