i have signed up with clickbank

    registered (and hosted) a domain

took some premade landing pages from clickbank's advertisers and put them on my site (each one under a separate folder)

went to adwords, put up the ads with keywords (LOTS of keywords) for each clickbank's offer in a separate adwords campaign.

Result: i got a few impressions and clicks, and after that everything stopped and no impression and no activity on those campaigns anymore

what's wrong with all this ?

See if you are using Adwords, then there may be many reasons of your ad not showing up, like:
    1. You have been slapped by Google
    2. your Bid is lower than Min. CPC
    3. Your Keyword's Quality Score is too low to show in google ads

If you have put up a single landing page and nothing else (from the content perspective), there is high possibility that sooner or later your campaign keywords will get low Quality Score also the landing page should be relevant with the keywords.

So i would suggest you to post some relevant content at the site (better to set up a blog like www.domain.com/blog or blog.domain.com) and keep on posting the fresh content, at least 2-3 times a week). Also Create Separate Ad groups for different set of keywords.
Also one more thing which i have tried and tested is to give 1 or 2 relevant authority outgoing links at the bottom of your landing page (like if your site is related to homebrew wii, give a wikipedia link of homebrew etc..) along with "Privacy Policy", "Disclaimer", "Contact Us" and "Blog" links.

I hope the above points help you.

ok .. my pages are 100% related to the ads and keywords (e.g. i sell the clickbank's best seller "mass article control" and my landing page is the one found on "mass article control"s affiliate page where the authors offer that landing page for their affiliates).

let me ask it another way .. can it be the reason that the content of my landing page is also a 100% duplicate (since i believe 1000s of other ppl have the exact same landing page).

so .. do you think the duplicate content is the reason ?

    Thanks

Duplicate content should not be a big issue but if you at least change it to make 50% unique, that would be better.

Also i would like to know if you have just landing page or any other page up on the site.

If you can show your site, that would be good.

Well that's one problem right there - you need to target your ads/keywords/landing pages. Just throwing hundreds of keywords into one ad group wont get you anywhere.
