It makes no sense for CB to steal. Way too much to risk. We're talking about freezing company's assets and putting people behind bars. They have a profitable system which doesn't require that kind of risk to make the owners money. Another crazy conspiracy theory is all that it is. And it wouldn't take all that much to audit and find the discrepencies if they were actually stealing. The bottom line is that there are a lot of people who just don't like to face the reality that they're not making money when they are truly not making money. Must be someone else stealing it.
Most people that make these kinda statements are newbies that get 1 or 2 sales a day then all of a sudden it disappears. Then they think coz they got these sales everday that it must be CB ripping them off where in actual fact its just their failure to diversify
Bingo - Add that to the list of possibilities. I've done this myself when ordering a clickbank product and it does bounce me back to enter the zip code. Mike
ClickBank ARE stealing.. but not intentionally.. so its can not really be called stealing.. Basically their system is not infallible.. its prone to miss the odd sale here and there but this is a technology problem and not by design or intent.
I agree. Don't be so quick to blame Clickbank for stealing your sales. With everything else that could be going wrong I find it funny that the first person you blame is Clickbank.
Thanks for this usefull tip... i´ll think about it...do you mean on the thankyou page?? But this can solve the problem.. cheers, Patrick
I think You DO need to create an email submit page to track and contact!! Keep All of Us in your progress Circle!!!!!! No matter if you agree or disagree, in the back of your mind you want to know the results!!! Right?? Give 'em a Rep Point When He Concludes!!!!
Sorry but that is one of the most ridiculous suggestions I have ever heard. You are NEVER going to get everyone who purchases to go through and sign up to your email list so the numbers will never match. I have an idea and I just think it might work. Stop wasting time worrying about this sort of stuff and instead invest the time in making a new product, recruiting new affiliates, getting more traffic, etc. You don't see the most successful Internet Marketers wasting their time with this sort of stuff - do you?
I am not saying CB is stealing, but if there is anything fishy going on there, it is not official. May be some few clickbank staff are corrupt, not the entire clickbank team. Cant really say why, but my sales noticed a big increase after they introduced their new analytic!
Its nothing new dude, their tracking sucks and they reject most of the credit cards, move on to other good networks.
CB is not stealing, and they're not having any serious tracking issues or CC issues. The problems they have are usual, and you have the same problems in every other networks. I've tried and used other networks, they do have the same problems. Any vendor can easily check whether Clickbank are stealing by tracking the customers on his page. The bottom line is they're not stealing. As far as the affiliate sales tracking issues. Go to www.cb-analytics.com, and check the 'Refd%' graph for the most popular products. You'll notice that it is around 90% for most products. This means that 90% of the sales are referred by affiliates, and that their tracking is just fine. This doesn't mean that the other 10% are not tracked, but it simply means that the customer visited the page directly, without clicking an affiliate link. Enough with the conspiracy theories.
I do agree with you that all network have some kind of problems, for example,CPA networks has lead shaving, tracking problems as well, but its more in case of CB,yes they do reject many credit cards and do not have the best payment processing system.
