Hello. I want to know which is the maximum on visitors / day supported by Wordpress sites. I have a site build at this platform (not a site.wordpress.com). I expect to traffic to increase very much but i dont't know how much traffic can Wordpress support. In this moment the site is hosted on a shared account.
You're asking the wrong question, you should be more concerned with your host dealing with an increase in traffic, not the script.
Agreed. Some hosts will though blame the software you;re running instead of them stuffing the box too full.
OK. I understand. But I read somewhere that - Wordpress support maximum 9000 users / hour, no matter what hosting you have... and I want to know what do you think about that.
That's just stupid, if you have a dedicated server with 8GB RAM don't you think it will perform better than a shared host with 256MB RAM? Anyway, if you're concerned and don't want to switch hosts, you may be interested in the plugin "Super cache". Look it up, it serves static pages of your site which means it will be able to handle alot more users.
