Guys i wanna know does putting links similar sites helps raise PR. For example, putting 100 or 200 backlinks to PR0 sites will help in getting higher PR or not?
Dropped PR ? From PR0 to PR5 , and from PR5 dropped to PR0 . It's nothing. Find a good tips in my signature for make a plan to building backlinks and get PR. It's better way than this way
PR affected on several factors, volume of visitors, various link back to our site (get only high PR link back isn't good), up to date unique content, etc. My site has 400 more link back, but its PR didn't raise up any ideas ?
I have tried many ways, but find there's one method we can really control, that is create the quality contents.
To get a high PR, you need to do more and avoid some don'ts. This forum has some many threads on this issue.
Thanks for your best sharing, surely, the high quality outbound links could help the PR rise. But as my survey, the value of PR is also related of the traffic.
link exchange doesnt help a lot and it seems google started hunting sites that do link exchange! Its 0 ...
Good for you mate, even though the site you provided is PR0 However, finding people with High PR of 5+ willing to link to your website is not that easy.. specially in highly competitive niche
Ummm....i m not too sure how you can be too certain about the number of links (of specific PRs) you would require for a site to turn into PR5. I really wish the algorithm deciding the PR was this simple.
Interesting, thanks! Did anybody read this? Pagerank 7 in 200 days: http://pagerank7.xtrememind.com Please let me know, what you think about it. Ben
I'm so tired of hearing people say that "google punishes link exchanges". As far as I know, there is absolutely no concrete evidence. There is also no evidence to support the argument that link exchanges cancel each other out. I'm no expert, but I'm tired of hearing people claim they know. Does anyone actually know? Can you show where google says this? Until then, I will continue exchanging links. I get more visitors from link exchanges than I do from google anyhow.
As far as I know, what doesn't help is to get links from unrelated sites. Links that are not from sites which topic is related to yours.
The thing about PR is this: From my experience, most webmasters of high ranking sites won't even talk to you about link exchanges unless you are a respectable PR. Perhaps this ought not to be...but it's the truth. I agree with your comment about the serps, but it's kind of like telling someone who wants to be a model: "Don't worry about being good looking, just worry about getting modeling gigs." Just wondering if there are any more comments regarding "link exchanges"?
