Indian credit cards not working on paypal

I tried Hdfc MC Credit Card & Corp Bank visa debit card.

Both were working before 1 Aug.

Now both Hdfc and Corp Bank says its paypal problem.
While paypal says .... card is getting rejected by issuing bank.

I think these bank has stopped usage of card on all international merchant sites.
While the Rbi regulation was for Indian merchants only.

 

As of Aug 1, indian cards will only work on indian merchant sites online since they have implemented securecode. It wont work with other foreign websites.

Try this! de-register your credit card securecode from hdfc and use it with paypal or try the other way around - register for it and see if the charge goes through. It might work!

 

I think you can opt for VCC...
You can create VCC and Use it ....

 

and how will i buy that vcc? stop spamming!

if you HDFC bank credit card is not working with PayPal, this might be because you need to login to your HDFC account and create a secured password for your online transactions, Any Indian bank issued credit card will work with PayPal, You should call up HDFC bank customer care and raise a complaint as you are not able to use your card online, They will troubleshoot the same and solve the issues

 

There is no such guidelines or instructions from RBI barring Indian credit usage on foreign websites, Your credit cards can be used on any international and Indian website.

As per the RBI guideline, All Internet transactions done on websites let that be Indian or international, Credit card holder must use a secured password for executing the transaction, This secured password can be selected by the card member on the Credit card issuing bank website. Once you have selected this password, you will be asked for entering the same while making your transactions.

 

well.. just wait for few time.. cc will be modified and we will be able to sue it..

I think VCC would still work

 

I heard about HDFC netsafe card which is just work as a vcc. You can create it online and can use to verify your account

 

Netsafe Card of HDFC Bank is working so enjoy guyz...

I have been using Paypal for almost 4 - 5 yrs.

I started with Personal a/c & then verified it with HSBC CC. Then later when I closed up the HSBC CC , I removed it from Paypal.

Then I got a new HDFC CC & got it verified in paypal & I never had problems with paypal verification using HDFC cards.

So all major CC in India will work with Paypal verification process, as long as you have good balance in your card for the verification process

 

I agree with phpsundar. All Credit cards work issued by major banks. I verified my account with barclays it's working.

 

HDFC CC'S are working fine.....,

and try ICICI B2 banking... this one is also working..i tryed dont worrry.

working all major bank credit cards like ICICI, HDFC,HSBC etc...you can proceed.
