With modern satellite photography and ground intelligence the exact location of every Iranian missile factory must be known. You pick one at random and leaflet it saying that in two hours it will be bombed so please leave the premises. Two hours latter you drop a few MOABs on it. After the first few I guess they would be empty when the bombs hit unless 'martyrs' and religious fanatics rushed there to commit suicide in which case Darwin rules are in operation and you get two hits for your money. - Michael

Luckily America's full of many races, so infilitrating foreign countries through spies is a lot easier...although I guess you can say the same about our enemies. I'm thinking they have some in bunkers as well. I believe it's important to not let them get nukes, but I truely hope we don't have to go to war with them. So many problems would come out of that...far more than Iraq. It's a shame we let NK get there's.
I hate to sound like a democrat, but diplomacy to the point we know there's no option. Not when they have it, but once there within a small distance of actually having them. Just about every political avenue we can do...flooding Iran with spies whom can infiltrate the highest ranks of Iran...they should be doing such. I'd hate to say it, but Hitlers method to getting power is what we should do with all hostile countries ie you get your people in all areas of control...and when the point of attack is necessary, you cut the head off and use the intelligience quickly and absolutely. Other than that you do everything to make them quit the program...short of shaving their balls. The price of keeping the peace in that region is worth it...especially now.

Well, if it comes down to it ... united efforts between Israel and USA make me feel safe knowing, that there will be an efficient counter attack should they try anything. Israel rules - small country but very advanced.
Because if isreal attacks or nukes iran we will be looking at WW3. The second russia or china has ANY sort of nuclear fallout in its country they will pounce on israel fast. Russia has its reasons,destroying israel would make them the world leader in the arms industry and a leader in the diamond industry.
We shouldn't confuse Iran with Iraq. Iran actually has a military. Iraq was decimated through years of sanctions. They have an air force, ground force, missiles, air defenses and more. Thanks to oil revenues, they keep on buying. They are also a more united country. Remember, in 1979, 97% of voters supported the Islamic Revolution. This entire region suffers from groupism. There are very few that actually think for themselves. It's also about what group you are in. The previous poster was correct about elimination. You can kill all the people you want, but they will keep coming back. The only way to change anything is through the environment (jobs, income, etc). While our Air Force can possibly take down the some 500 targets in Iran we have identified, there will be heavy losses. Furthermore, our ground forces are not prepared. We can't even get things going right in Iraq, which is disneyland in comparison.
Latehorn your thinking exactly how it works. The us will pounce russia/china they will fight back and then other countries will join in.
Luckilly, I live in a deep in the woods in a neutral country and have strong/fresh basement. So I think I have a good chanche to survive the war.
