Hello everyone, i have a simple question and please fell free to answer me: For example i have a linkback on 2 website: 1/ abc.com (the PR of abc.com is 2) 2/ xyz.com/post-title.html The PR of xyz.com is 5 but the PR of the post where has my link is just only 0 So, is my linkback on xyz.com useful than abc.com???
A backlink is a backlink but depending on where it is coming from it may have more 'juice.' Google loves backlinks from sites in the same niche as yours, for example, a recipe site providing a link to a resturant would carry more weight than a recipe site linking to a pet supply shop. Make sense? Don't be overly concerned with Pagerank, it's just a gauge as to how 'valued' your site is by google. Instead concentrate on getting quality inbound links from related sites and you'll do fine in your ranking quest.
That one is a tough one to call! However generally you want to get backlinks from good neighbourhoods and those are ones with higher PR either on the main page or on the exact pae that your backlink is located! Both will give you good juice! Tom Brite
Posts on a PR5 have a good chance or getting a PR1 to PR4 in short term. I will still like to get a link from a 'new' post on a regularly updated PR5 website.
