When you need a square avatar you can use MS office picture manager, crop your photo to square and than resize it to the size you want.

i did my favicon in photoshop you can do that there i added plugin so i can save it as .ico but you can make that work if you save it as gif also size is 16X16 oh now i see that you put one in your site my bad
This is a jpg of the ico files. I have used the Rondalo font unless you know your exact font? I am away fishing today but I will sort out something better for you tonight. Do you want the text in blue. If the text needs to have a gradient or a stroke then I will need to use photoshop and export the text to Axialis. Cheers ... Gestalt
I think the OP needs a small avtaar logo to supplement its website logo. something like gestalt designed but a bit bigger square
