with a database of 60,000 emails I need sending. Most ISPs limit this to something like 100 per hour or 400 per day. I am trying to find the most cost effective way of sending such a large number (this is not spam at all but a business to business list I have built over many years) The 3rd party providers such as IContact / Rapid Response etc are very expnsive for this number
You can always send it through a dedicated server. If the mailing list is legit, there should be no problem.
Hi, You could maybe use something like http://www.aweber.com I'm sure they have a facility for you to import the email address' that you already have. -- Phil
Be careful that you don't get your IP tagged as spam. Its important to limit the amount you send at a time. Try using multiple dedicated ip address (cheap if you have your own server. Each IP is like $2)
Aweber is what you are looking for. I can't believe you are still doing through your own server with such a big list. Quite risky!
I use interspire's email marketing system. It's on the expensive side, but far more effective for the size of your email list.
I have used both VerticalResponse or Aweber. They both are pretty good, comparatively feature wise i like aweber most. You can give a try for the same.
Here are a few: iContact.com, GetResponse.com, ConstantContact.com, BenchMarkEmail.com, EliteEmail.com, InterSpire.com
