I am agree with you, Gogole love to index anchor text which comes from blog other than normal site. but the difficult thing is where to find do follow blogs?

 

I can't find any do follow blogs........seems like a waste of time even trying honestly

 

Well, i also believe that getting backlinks from .edu and .gov domain name will be really helpful.

 

I only focus on article marketing and link wheels. It does wonders to me.

 

I believe purchasing banners is not frowned upon by Google. Purchasing links is. Infact it's not purchasing that is frowned upon, it's the sale. So much misleading information on this site.

If this were the case then I'd go to a link farm and spam links to my competitors. This alone is why what you have said above is entirely incorrect.

Google won't ever "de-index" you for this. It will just give you an insignificant boost to your PR and SERPs.

Not to flame you, but first of all I said you could be de-indexed. This is not the only forum i'm involved with. One happens to be the google forums, where employees answer questions. It has indeed come up that people could be de-indexed for various reasons. I would offer you to present evidence to the contrary if you don't believe it.

Also I cautioned people not to do it, yet you yourself said that they were at the very least, not useful to put a link on a 1 billion link page. I just don't see your point. Nothing I've said in my post has any "bad" information. Please don't generalize me into some issue you have with someone else. ok thank bye.

I find commenting on blogs and posting on forums to be the best way to gain back links

 

Having read all the comments, I still feel that article marketing is a better marketing method provided that you submit quality articles to top directories. For me, blog comments are quite time consuming. And many blog comments require approval of the blog owners. That makes no difference from submitting articles to directories.

Just my opinion.

Really the internet changes from year to year, you have to be able to adapt. At one time article marketing was king. It's not any more.

 

Blog commenting is not the best way to get links.

I also totally disagree that link exchanges are a waste of time - IF the link exchange is a non-reciprocal one, and I disagree that link exchanges are considered spam - what utter rubbish.

 

Getting comments from blogs is like getting instant boost on serps, but for long term goals you have to gain links from different sources and ways to balance it and make it look natural, and Google loves in content anchored links, and in that case, blog Posts links relevant to your niche and Article submission is still as efficient as it was.

I agree that those links do not help at all. But i strongly disagree that they can hurt your rankings.A webmaster can control only the links that has in his page, not the links he receives.

So if that was true you could hurt the site of your competitor just by adding links(!) to his site in bad spammy sites. that's why there is no penaldy of getting links from such sites,but there is for pointing to them.

I would hope that if you don't like the information, you would not prejudice other people. Nothing I've said in my help is even objectionable. "The mos efficient use of your time is to comment on high pr, do follow blogs" end of story. No one can argue against it.

Some people have given some great additions: comment on .EDU or .GOV blogs. That is the icing on the cake and definitely something to strive for as well. If you can find them, and if you're allowed to comment on them, try to do so at every opportunity. In fact, if you can comment frequently on .edu and .gov blogs you can really establish yourself as an authority in your niche.

I increased my traffic by a factor of 5 by commenting on .edu blogs.

 

Yes. Yes you can. But not for the reason you gave. Google is smart, they aren't naive enough to think that if you link spammed a site, said site should be de-indexed. << For the obvious reasons I already stated
