So the form should be part of the header?
ie. it won't be a functioning form? just an image?

a4hire: Thanks for your submission. The navigation and logo are closer to what I am looking for, but the mascot, plane, and color swirls don't work with what I am looking for. Also, the fields in the form seem off. I would right align all the fields and evenly space the text. Finally, I wouldn't have the logo bleed into the navigation, so that I am not limited on adding navigation. Hope this helps.

Abdul.D: Sorry, but this design isn't working. The mascot doesn't fit and the form and header don't work. Sorry, but I would try another route.

MohammadHaja: The header doesn't work. Below I've added a screenshot to point out the concern. Mainly, I need the form to be closer to the top. Right now the header is too big. Hope this helps.

Not necessarily true. This tactic is quite common in the insurance industry. If you program the form in the header, it just means it will be on every page and it works just fine.

Can you tell me a little more of what kind of mascot you are looking for ? An animal, person ? You said that the mascot image I had didn't fit what you are looking for ? Not sure if it is just not the right style or what it is that you don't like about the mascot. I can change the other parts that you mentioned about the web page elements.

Other then the mascot, navigation, and form, what other content are you going to have on the site?

stardesigns99: LOVE THE PENGUIN! You are coming very close to what I had in mind. Several recommendations, though. First, the logo and gray bar are too thick. Can you make it so that the navigation are just a thin strip, which will allow more focus on the form. Second, with the form you need to use the fields that are found on this website. We are not a travel website, instead we are trying to get people to fill out the form to have several travel agents contact them. Finally, concerning the footer I would have the tiny penguin only in the footer, so that it doesn't bleed into the sidebar. However, I love how you designed the sidebar and content, nice job!

Thanks for your question. I am indifferent to whether it is an animal or person, but I felt the mascot was the wrong style. It seemed a bit clipart and didn't flow with the design. Hope this helps.

Great question Will. The site is going to be very content heavy, focusing on the different places you can travel around the world. That is why I want the form to be a part of the header because I want people to be able to fill out the travel request on just about every page.

MohammadHaja: The design before was better. Here is another website that might help you understand what I am looking for. It doesn't have a form, but it does have a similar layout. Hope this helps.

Erthy: You definitely understand my idea of having the form in the header. A couple of suggestions. First, don't blend the logo with the header, it really doesn't look good. Second, people need to understand what the form is for. Maybe, putting this above the form: "To find the best deal, tell us where you want to go and we'll have up to 3 travel agents contact you!" This may be to long but hopefully you get the idea (plus, don't put the form button in the navigation). Below the header also needs to look more like a blog post, with a sidebar and a content body. Let me know if this makes sense.
