Ok well everyone who owns a web hosting company knows there will be a lot of fraud and well I closed all new sales due to it. What I plan to do is reopen except only sell dedicated servers since i get good deals on them. So I would like to know the best possible way I can get someone to prove there identity for wire transfers and also other payment methods to eliminate fraud. I just need a few things I can do to eliminate it. Thanks Mike
When we launch again we will have our own coded system I am just looking for the best gateways because paypal def. was the worst.
Well integrate http://www.varilogix.com/ in ur system so basically ull have a phone verifcation and mostly this will nil this kind of fraud
Use www.2checkout.com They are a CreditCard Processor and people can also pay you using PayPal thro them they do a Fraud Check for you and I haven't had a Chargeback since I started using them *Knock on wood *
Report it if it matters to you. That's why the Report Post button exists. I have very little fraud. Less than 0.5% on average.
I think MaxMind in this time is still good. And if you verify order , check order + confirm phone , if feel not good , you can required your customer scan cc for confirm that order. It's good way to avoid fraud .
I would suggest you use credit database service, such as Equifax ( www.equfax.com ), Experian ( www.experian.com ), and Trans Union (www.tuc.com) are most appropriate for high-dollar value items, The customer would be asked to verify some very specific information such as the mother's maiden name or their social security number.
Use Google Checkout, its the best payment processing system on earth. You will always get 100% revenue this.
Well a wire transfer is a wire transfer, don't need much verification for that. Once you got your money, it's your money. You could resort to something like Google Checkout which is better than paypal, requires more verification, and of course - is provided by Google!
Please be aware that there are significant costs involved with using the likes of Equifax - we're looking at it at present and have about £10k setup costs for their XML link plus individual search costs
