Firefox not working :(

    Hi,

My firefox worked fine, then suddenly it stopped remembering my passwords. I've checked all the obvious things like the firefox setting to remember the passwords and not to clear passwords when it closes, but to no avail.

    I'm using Firefox 3.5.2..

    Help, please? :)

Are you trying to get it to remember a password on a different page of the same site? Look in the password manager and see if you have the same sites listed more than once.

To the others above, you are off topic. Start your own thread. Millions of us aren't having any problems you are describing so fix your machine and quit blaming the browser.

@Hecky I think ive had this done to me before. Like when u go to a website its logged you out when before it used to keep u logged in?

    Do this.

Close your browser, make sure its properly closed.
Delete cookies.sqlite from your firefox profile. i found mine under C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\
(if you unsure or scared to, just move it out from the profile folder.)

Open firefox, enter ur login deets to sites then close. Go to the same website and u will still be logged in :)

Ah, you're a genius! Thank you very much, this works perfectly :D. Thanks to all who helped too, it's been such a pain. Funny that this fix isn't on the mozilla website.

    :D

Maybe you've deleted cookies and stuff. Or maybe it's because you've recently made an upgrade or something.

Uninstall FF, remove all cache and re-install. As easy as that if you decide not to waste your time. :D

Yes. The 20 million of us using version 3.5 feel the same way. Of course, if there are 20 million of us are using 3.5, then obviously it's not crashing. So if it's not crashing on 20 milliion computers, then....could it be you?! I think so.

Many people have got tired with FF 3.5.2 , I think you should downgrade your FF browser to 3.5.1

It happens sometimes. I forgot the exact problem, but it happens when cookies are cleared (sometimes) or computer gets restarted (sometimes). Re-install or wait it out and it will work again.
