    I got my first sale few days ago too. it was just 2 $10 books so earnings are like .40$. Nothing big but still its great to see it working.

    My only tip is TARGETED TRAFFIC....and I mean by targeted, searching EXACTLY for the product....don't just build a website and wait for visitors to flock and buy

    thnx very much for your kind replies :) The product was a HDTV as some one commented...With Amazon, you don't have to get a lot of traffic...you need TARGETED traffic...those interested in a particular product are the best to target...Isn't it?????...I get very few traffic and it converts with few clicks...this one for example converted after only 59 clicks! not hundreds or so..but it converted because visitors were searching for this particular product.

    Don't forget also that when a customer orders a product through your aff link, he/she becomes your customer for life....so if they order other products even from amazon directly, you will still get commission!...Moreover, when visitors click your link, a cookie is placed on your computer so you get commission for whatever they purchase...Sometimes it happens that I promote a HDTV and end up with someone buying a music player! still I get commission
